Chief Of Police. This rank is not earned through training. This rank is given to the next highest ranking officer after retirement of the current Chief of Police. The Chief has the power of recruitment, training, and can demote or promote an officer of his/her ranks. He is the only one allowed to give out Medals or Ribbons.
Assistant Chief Of Police. This rank is not earned through training. This rank is given to any person that the current Chief of Police chooses. The Assisstant Chief has the power of recruitment, training, and can demote or promote an officer of his/her ranks.
Major. This is the last rank that can be earned through training and meritorious service to the clan. You must surpass all training, you must be able to surpass the Sniper training and all other scenarios given to you.
Captain. This rank is earned by being able to complete all the training that is required and having atleast one year or more of meritorious service in the section 8 clan.
2nd Lieutenant. This rank is earned by having atleast 6 months of Meritorious service in the section 8 clan and completing half of the expected training scenarios. You must also be able to affectivly know how to train new recruits and Officers
1st Lieutenant. This rank is earned by having atleast 4 months of Meritorious service in the section 8 clan and completing half of the expected training scenarios and being able to successfully earn 100% on the Training Exercises.
Sergeant. This rank is earned by having atleast 3 months of Meritorious service in the section 8 clan and completing all of the officer academy training scenarios and being able to successfully earn 92% on the first three co-operative levels.
Officer. This rank has no insigna and is the rank given to new recruits. As an officer you will have to successfully pass the academy training levels and exercises with precise timing and scores that will allow you a new rank change.
AWARDS
The Police Cross. Awarded to a member for successfully completing any of the main levels in Swat 3 with a score of 100% with the exception of the Following Levels.

The Medal Of Honor. Awarded to a member for successfully completing 10 of any levels  in Swat 3 with a score of 100%. Levels must be authorized by Chief. Screenshots will be needed for each 100% score and level. This can be done by yourself or with a teammate.
The Medal Of Meritorious Service. Awarded to a member for Actively being a member of Section 8 for more than a Year.
The Medal Of Valor. Awarded to a member for successfully completing all of the section 8 Scenarios with a score of 92% or higher.
The American Ribbon is given to a player who shows respect not only to fellow members but to non Section 8 members.
The Commendation Ribbon is given to a player by other players from the Chief for commending them on great acchievments.
The Distinguished Service Ribbon is given to a player who shows Great Leadership skills commanding an Element.
The Good Conduct Ribbon is given to a player who shows Good Conduct to higher ranking Officers and to fellow members.
The Honorable Service Ribbon is given to a player who has shown great service to Section 8 For More than 6 Months
The Lifesaving Ribbon is given to a player who can successfully compllete any level at 100% without being injured or resulting to violence
The Medal Of Honor Ribbon is given to a player who earns the Medal Of Honor.
The Meritorious Service Ribbon is given to a player who earns the Medal Of Meritorious Service.
The Officer Of the Month Ribbon is given to a player who is voted by all members for that month for great Acchievements.
The Police Blue Star Ribbon is given to a player who earns the Police Star.
The Police Unit Citation Ribbon is given to a player who earns 30 or more Police Citations in the game.
The Unit rank Ribbon is given to a player who earns the rank of Sergeant.
The Medal Of Valor Ribbon is given to a player who earns the Medal of Valor
