Shay was a late addition to the SEC roster in 2000, but a very big pick-up! He brings lots of experince to our young team having played on several good teams in the past. He gives us the power we need to step up and play with the big dawgs if we want to. Quiet by nature but VERY out-spoken with his bat.

(Rumor has it he once played an entire game with a rubber chicken in his back pocket and clown wig on his head!)
