Released in the Fall of 1997, over a year after Bradley Nowell�s death of a heroin overdose, Second Hand Smoke, Sublime�s second major-label album, consists of a collection of Sublime songs that were recorded during the studio sessions for their breakthrough self-titled album. Many of the songs on this release were written by Bradley (with additional help from Miguel, Eric, & Bud, among others) early in his career with Sublime. The album also features several remixes from the Sublime and 40 oz. to Freedom albums, plus a rerelease of Badfish and the Gwen Stefani duet Saw Red.
