Chris pulled his jacketed around him tighter. It was so cold. Chills kept tracing their way up is spine making him shiver. He stumbled around the dark cemetery. Till he found the right name on a stone. The sudden stillness he felt at that moment was eerie

*And a drunk man in a cowboy hat took me by surprise*

Chris felt a surge of adrenaline, knowing eyes were on him. Turning quickly to catch the intruder off guard. he nearly stumbled over his own feet at the sight of a silvery outlined Austin staggering, trying to keep his drunken balance, only a few feet away.

*Wearing shiny boots, a Nudi suit and haunting haunted eyes*

His outfit the same as it was the night of his death, Austins slowly sobering eyes wondered over Chris. Chris lost his voice, but Austin's eyes spoke loads.

*He said 'Friend it's good to see you, it's nice to know you care*

In a whispery voice, almost as if it were the wind speaking to him instead of his dead companion, he heard the words. "I love you, Chris."

*Then the wind picked up and he was gone
Was he ever really there*

Chris thought he was hallucinating. For he could no longer see the outline of Steve. But the couldn't mistake the misty words that spoke so much. they said I'm sorry and Thank you.

*'Cause it's midnight in Montgomery*

The cold around Chris disappeared and was replaced with awesome warmth and comfort.

*Just hear that whippoorwill*
Chris couldn't see anyone but he felt the presence. and it was causing him near ecstasy

*See the stars light up the purple sky*

He didn't know how but he was laying on his back starring at the southern sky.

*Feel that lonesome chill*

Then he was there again. Gently Kissing Chris, running his not quite solid hands over Chris' face and now bear chest.

*When the wind is right, you'll hear his songs*
Chris let out an involuntary moan. He was in Heaven with a ghost. Austin removed Chris' jeans. And gently prepared him.

*Smell whiskey in the air*
The ghost kissed Chris again the air of alcohol still on his breath.

*Midnight in Montgomery*

He entered Chris slowly, giving him time to adjust before slowly rocking in and out and the beautiful Blonde on the ground.

*He's always singing there*

As they reached there climax's. Chris let out a pleasure filled scream and Austin was gone.

*I climbed back on my eagle
Took one last look around
Through red tail lights
The shadow moved slow across the ground
And off somewhere a midnight train is slowly passing by
I could hear that whistle moaning
I'm so lonesome I could cry*

Chris stood back up and slowly put his clothes back on thinking he was going crazy. He started to walk away and felt an emptiness, for the cold had returned. Then a shadow in the corner of his eye caught his attention and he hesitantly whispered "I love you, too.......Austin." The warmth brushed over his face again as he turned and made his way back down the lonely road.

*'Cause it's midnight in Montgomery
Just hear that whippoorwill
See the stars light up the purple sky
Feel that lonesome chill
'Cause when the wind it's right, you'll hear his songs
Smell whiskey in the air
Midnight in Montgomery
He's always singing there
He's always singing there*

That might be the cause of Chris' anal midnight return to Montgomery every first of January.
