Bmom searching for Birthdaughter, bdate 3/8/79. Searching for Birthdaughter born in St. Petersburg, FL at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was 8lbs 7oz at birth and was born at approximately 7:08pm. I placed her for adoption through the Catholic Social Services a week after she was born. The only thing that I requested on the papers I signed was that they keep the name Suzanne Marie as I named her for a good friend who died. I don't know if the birthparents honored that request or not. I didn't meet them. I did sign the forms with the understanding that the records would be available to her when she turned 18 so she could find me with no problem. I found out recently that the director of the Catholic Social Services at that time was prone to destroying records thinking she was doing the birthmothers and adoptees a favor. HAH...not a favor at all. I have never ceased to love, think of and miss my daughter from the day I gave birth to her. I will always love her as she is my child. The one beautiful thing I will have ever created in life. I only hope she grew up happy and healthy and had all she needed from the parents who raised her. Lots and lots of love that is.
