Baby girl HUBER 08-06-74 I am 22 and was born in the state of Florida on August 6, 1974. I am told I was born in Dade County General Hospital. I have a copy of my birth certificate, with all of the vital information about my birth mother blacked out, of course. All I have is the band that was put on my after I was born. It says the name HUBER on it, followed by XXX, which was probably the code for "this kid wont be going home with anyone named HUBER." My parents, Joe and Anne Stamm, told me all they were told when they arrived from New York City to pick me up in Miami. My birth parents met in college somewhere in the mid west, she was from a religious family. When she became pregnant she was sent to Florida to one of those infamous homes for unwed teens, who would arrange for the adoption of the child.
