Randy, It's taken years for your birth family to come to terms with a lot of problems we've had individually. Your father and I divorced and have been apart for 13 years. Only receintly were we reunited. Your father suffered a heart attack and had quad-bypass surgery. He was on life support for a couple weeks. Your sister pleaded with me to go be with him since she was 1400 miles away and couldn't be there. I went for her, and it was immediately evident that we still very much loved each other. We are together again and he is recovering nicely. It would be a blessing if we could know how you are and we wanted to let you know you've never been forgotten. It was one of the hardest decisions we ever made to give you up and we want you to know it was because we loved you and we knew we couldn't take care of you at the time.
