Daniel had broken the rule once or twice, Carter and Teal’c too. Hell, he’d even broken the rule a few times, but the result was always the same. He watched people under his command die, or was badly injured himself, sometimes both. Come to think of it, he’d been killed once or twice by breaking the rule, but that didn’t change anything, if you are going to break a rule, you might as well break the big one. And he was planning on breaking all the rules in the book, starting with that one.
