"Good, because I do."
She sighed, "Why do you keep doing it?"
"Doing what?"
"Saying that, that you love me. I know you do, and yes I like hearing it but you don’t have to say it constantly."
"Maybe because one day I’m hoping you’ll say it back."
She looked away.
"I guess I’m just fooling myself into believing I can say it enough for both of us."
"But it won’t be true."
"No"
"I’m sorry."
"Me too."
