Sam raised her eyebrow at her friends. "So you are saying that kissing Colonel O’Neill will remove my black widow curse."
"Indeed, if O’Neill is in fact your soul mate then it should break the curse."
Jack looked at Teal’c, unconvinced. "If I’m not?"
"Then it was an honour to serve with you."
Daniel looked at his two friends, neither of whom was looking convinced. "Sam, the curse is obviously faulty as it’s let Pete live this long, so if Jack is your soul mate nothing will happen to him and it should break the curse so you’ll be safe to date him. If it kills him then the curse is fine and you belong with Pete."
Sam nodded; looking pleased at the idea.
She turned to Jack, who backed away quickly. "Where’s your sense of adventure Colonel?"
"Oh I’m all for kissing you Carter, I’m just not so sure I like the possibility of me dying."
"Jack, do you really want to survive knowing that Sam’s soul mate is Pete."
"Good point space monkey." He nodded at Sam. "Let’s do it."
They moved together, their lips touching briefly before he pulled her closer, kissing her with everything he had...
