Personally, even though I have no reputation, etc, I believe that people shouldn't be considered a pro if they have the Doc Mario WR. It's the one exception. I think they should still be listed, but only under the DocMario WR club, but their total is still expressed in the intermediate topic.

That's my opinion, I'll leave now.

btw, sub 7 pichu won't be any time soon, i tried the strat 5 minutes before going to school, i'm way too slow to get 5 and 6 =/

giggs: it's easy

some tips:
1) Run off the platform, then jump relatively soon, but don't start your forward+A until you're right of target 1
2) Walking would probably be easier for you then running...after target 2 I'm talking about...L-cancel and walk until you can jump
3) Pichu-style up+A target 3: smash up and A simutaneously
4) Pichu-style up+A 5&6 also

Thanks Tinister. I hope these will help me. My problem was that i was too slow to hit #5 because it wasn't there anymore, but i didn't l-cancel after 1-2 so, i think i should make it with a bit of training =)

Er, I made another Doc strat, maybe someone can find something useful in it to make a new WR strat? =/

My best so far is 17.70... too bad that's 4.3 seconds too long. >_>;

1: Jump right, jump, Pill, drift right onto the eight thing
2: Jump back a bit jump up A, fastfall
3: Jump jump, jump jump to the top grey plat, Pill as you get there
4,5: Dash right, rejump wavedash onto the top red structure, and dash right, jump off the edge, rejump right Pill left, up B right
6: Land on the moving grey plat, walk left a little, plat dive and back A, rejump left and up B onto the backwards red C
7: Walk left if necessary, Pill
X: Dash jump left, jump left, air dodge to middle grey plat, jump jump air dodge to get to the top of the blue structure
8,9,10: Quick dj left Pill fastfall Pill right, fastfall at max speed and down A the last one.

Maybe someone can find something useful in there? Until then, people can use this if they for some reason cannot do any 13-14 seconds strats.

Found another alternate Doc opening, and can almost reach the platform in time for the 13.40 jumps... The first three I have only done twice at all so far, but I think it's got potential.

1: Jump right jump Pill, but land on the grey plat
2: Dash left, and jump off the very end, Pill
3: Rejump right, up B
4: Get to the top plat (triple jump, but it's so slow for the top left target...), jump back twice fast, back A
5: Air dodge right to the top of the blue structure, dash off it to the right, fastfall and jump up A under the middle plat, landing on it
6,7: Dash jump right, up A through the wall, fastfall onto the red C
8,9: Slippy Pill, up B onto the platform
10: JJUpB

I can't think of any other way to go though after 3...

Another possible opening I forgot about...

1: Dash right, jump and hit your head, jump right once you're clear, and up B the target in the red anti-C
2: Jump left (not dash), rejump right slippy Pill
3: Rejump up B onto the platform
4: Get to the top of the red structure, dash left, dash onto the top grey plat, Pill right
5: Jump back jump back back A
6,7: Pills on the way down, land on the low grey plat on the tall bluye structure
8: Plat dive, rejump air dodge up to the other side of the same plat, jump jump up A, landing on the next highest one
X: Get back to the top of the red structure
9,10: Dash right, and at the edfge dash jump right, jump right Pill left, up B to the right.

I got 21.77 with this (>_O) but I think there are parts to it which could contribute to a new WR strat. I'll mess around with it some more, and maybe someone else can mesh some stuff together and get something worthwhile. I have a vid with 9 and 10 in it, I'm gonna get to that in a little bit.

Er, I changed it a bit from the last post and now I know that mid 19 is posible with it, but... =/

I made a 17.92 vid for Doc, since I was making NBD... kazoompah and I came up with something new though, I'll try that out and vid it too if I can do it.

I, too, agree. 4556.6 Ganondorf takes almost no real HRC skill, as does BtT Doc. I await the day that Puzzle Y comes up with a sub 13.40 Doc strat.

In other news, I got 8.30 Yoshi. A clockwise style strat, and I got 9-10 with a Air nuetral+A without fastfall. o_0. I tried to come onto AIM to tell HoA and/or anyone else, but no one was on. Gamefaqs wasn't working either. I really wanted to share my Yoshi time, but then I woke up. I spent the whole morning wondering what life would be like had I actually got that time. I was mad at myself for waking up.

Wishful thinking, skeet.

Doc 13.40 depends virtually only on target ten. If you get to the platform in time, you are capable of 13.40. Doc's WR strat is not anything special, and does not warrant 'pro status'.

Oh yeah, I don't mean 'not anything special' like it's a bad strat, but it's merely a vehicle to get you to target ten, which is the ONLY target that matters.
