The Tale Of Fred. Date: 6/9/1999

800 years ago while the now Queen Beth was still but a Princess in the court of Dragemon the sorceror. There was A man known only as Fred, Nobody not even the Sorceror lord himself knew where Fred had come from, it seemed as if he had always been there and always would be there. Fred was as much a part of the Sorceror lords court as was the stone it was made of. Fred gained in wizardry over the years, and eventually became Dragemon's Royal advisor. It was whispered among the court that Fred was not a man born of a mortal Man and Woman, but the child of a god who had grown weary of a life of Divinity and had come to the earth to experiance what it had to offer.

And so many years passed and Many people were born and died. All signes indicated that life would go on in this way for many hundred more years, But two people suspected otherwise. One day Fred noticed that Princess had gone riding in the country and this was unusual to Him because he knew how much the Princess loved the life of her fathers court. Fred asked a few questions that would not arous suspicion but when he did not get a suitable answer from any who dwelled in the court, He decided to check upon the Princess wherever she might be. Fred ascended to his Laboratory and gazed for the Princess through his Crystal Monitor and once the magic had found what he sought, he stared and shivered in Horror. there on his screen was the Princess, She lay half naked in the forest at the edge of Dragemon's lands in the arms of a man who wore the crest of a prince of the house of Algon, dragemon's nieghbor and hated rival. This however was not what caused Fred such horror, for his crystal Monitor also showed to him a woodsman of whom he had seen selling his wares in the township of Washere, which was part of Dragemon's lands. Fred needed to see no more, He saw clearly as if it were a premonition of the course of actions that would follow. Turning away from his Monitor Fred sat and pondered what could be done to avoid the horrible fate he had envisioned. Fred went from his laboratory and sought out Dragemon, They conversed long about The Sorceror lord's relationship with his neighbor Algon, But the Mighty Sorceror had grown very bitter at the Witch King over there many years of rivalry. Fred saw that He could not sway Dragemon's feelings and went back to his Laboratory. He activated the magic of the NS portal and travelled to Algon's lands in hopes that maybe the Witch King might be reasoned with. When Fred arrived and gained an audiance with Algon he found that the Witch King had gone almost Mad from his long years of life and was not able to be Talked with Coherently, much less reason with.

Fred knew he was losing time and that the woodsman would surely be on his way back to Washere from his daily toils in the forest. In one last hope Fred decided to seek out the only people who might divert his visions of the future. Fred journied through the Gramd Chasm to the fields of Antiquity, where dwelled the three witches, Orwen, Ordu, and Orgoch. Fred new that these witches were ancient even beyond the gods themselves, He knew that they were the weavers of the threads of all that was, all that is, and all that shall be. Fred found there cottage roaming lazily through the fields on its great chicken legs. He stopped the cottage and knocked at the door entreating entry. The door opened and Fred stepped Hastily inside, Once inside he found the three witches standing around a fire that burned of its own will and throwing various things into a Great Cauldron which was hung above the flames. **We know why you have come, son of Heaven** said one witch who then stood strait and faced Fred. **If you know why i have come then tell me my answer now so that I may know what is to come** said Fred. The two remaining witches faced Fred and with no emotions on their faces waited silently for The first witch to answer. **Come Fred, i have something you should see** said the witch. She then turned and opened a door which looked exactly like the one Fred had used to come in by, Turning Fred saw that behind him there was only a wall, The witch beckoned and Fred entered after her. Inside the room all was darkness, and then it was as if the roof had vanished and the light of the sun shone clearly above there heads. the witch moved to a corner of the room which contained some large object hidden under a Tarp. **Usually I have my sisters uncover this every night, be a deary and help an old woman won't you?

The woodsman,"who's name was Scott" was not a superstitious man. He lived his life to the best of his abilities as a man who was solid and dependable. This in turn earned him a place on the Town council in Washere, where he helped make descisions about his comunity and kept life good for the people he represented. Scott earned his living mainly by erecting the buildings of Washere, and on this particular day he was out gathering wood for the new addition to the schoolhouse. Scott was well into his work, felling trees and loading them onto his cart, when his faithful dog, whom he always brought along for companionship, started growling and whimpering into the woods. Scott payed it no mind at first, not being afraid of the wild rumors he had heard in the tavern. When he had finished loading his cart with all the wood it could carry, however, he thought that maybe he shold investigate what had his dog so unnevered. And so slipping his muzzel over the dog, for it wise to make as little noise as possible when tracking something he reasoned, Scott started off behind his dog to investigate the matter. The dog led him on a straight path through the forest for almost three-fourths of a mile before Scott spotted a small clearing and stopped, he tied the dog well away and then went on himself to see what was to be seen. When he was about three trees away from the clearing he stopped behind some bushes and peered ahead. There on the other side of the clearing he beheld Princess Beth, standing in the arms of a man whom he thought at first to be King Algon, only this man was much younger. Scott could not overhear what was said between the Princess and the stranger, but all his questions were answered when the two figures suddenly shared a long, passionate kiss. Needing to see no more to confirm his suspicions, Scott crept away from the field, untied his dog, and started back the way he had come.

**Tell ma that you love me** said Princess Beth as she gazed into the eyes of the man in front of her. **I love you more than I could ever tell you in this life, And if the gods choose, I shall but love thee better after death.** Princess Beth then kissed her lover,Farened, with all the passions that only a young girl has. Farened then said **Will I see you again tomoorow, my love?**. **No I have been out of my fathers court two days at a time now, I would not want rumors to start circulating.** Farened then kissed her once more and said **the day after tomorrow then?**, **Yes, if the weather is nice, if not then the day after that.** They then embraced and turned away from each other to go their separate ways. Prince Farened walked back to his horse and said, **You may come out now.** A man in the uniform of a royal guard in the service of Algon stepped out of the trees. **So my lord how was it today?**, **It went well, she now believes everything I tell her unquestioningly.**, **So you'r plans are starting to take shape?**, **Yes, just a little longer and I will be ready to make my bid for her fathers throne, but come, we should return to the castle before dark, these woods are not friendly to good folk after sundown.**

Scott pulled his cart into the shed at his home, he had been pondering what he had saw all the way back to town and he thought he had found an answer. Entering his cottage he saw his wife,Jessica, and promptly said **You'll never believe what I saw in the woods today honey.**, **What did you see?, And no more tall tales of Trees that walk and pixies hiding in the bushes.** She said as she put his dinner on the table. **I swear that this time I'm not kidding with you Jessica, I saw The Princess Beth and a Prince of Algon the Witch King kissing in a clearing.** Jessica was smiling at her husband, thinking to herself that this time he had outdone even old Maggie, the town gossip. However when she saw that her husbands face remained as serious as when he had told her, she began to think differently. **You truly believe what you said don't you Scott?**, **I know I saw it, there was no mistaking the princess.**, **So what will you do now?** said Jessica as she sat down across from him at the table. **There is only only one thing to do.** he said as he ate his stew. **I must travell to the court of Dragemon and tell him what I have seen.**, **But couldn't that start up the old troubles between Dragemon and Algon?**, **No, surely the Princess will be forbidden to see her lover ever again, and besides, wouldn't that cause more harm then if I informed the King so that he could handle it properly before their love grew out of hand?** Scott then finished his dinner and cleared away the table. **I will go to Dragemon's court tomorrow and tell him what I have seen, besides, When good men do nothing, that is evil enough.** He then kissed his wife and went out the door to the council house for his meetings. Jessica stood in the doorway and watched him go with a proud smile on her face, But she thought to herself, **I hope you'r right Scott, This could already be out of hand.**

**Be a deary and help an old Woman won't you?** Fred moved to the corner and seized the tarp with both his hands, he then carefully drew it away and what he beheld took his breath away. The sunlight illuminated a monstrous Loom, it stood as tall and even Taller than he, But could never be quite sure of it's exact dimensions, for it seemed to change in size and width whenever he took his eyes from a certain spot of it. However it was what the loom held that truly amazed him. For there on the Loom was a large section of what looked to be a huge Tapestry in progress, The colors were stunning to the eye and Fred saw that the Tapestry showed many seens of life, both in the court of Dragemon and at the castle of Algon. Fred knew then that the Tapestry was a record of all things that happened upon this earth. **Look at it closely.** said the witch, And Fred gazed upon the Tapestry and was truly amazed, for on it, He saw himself, gazing through his crystal monitor at the seen in the forest. He looked higher and saw the Princess riding from the castle and entering the forest. He saw Farened talking with his guard, before going to the clearing alone to meet Beth. Fred Looked a little lower and beheld the Woodsman waving goodbye to his wife, and then watching the Princess from the bushes. **This is the Tapestry of Fates.** said the witch. **Here is recorded all that is reality for each new day.** The witch then smiled at Fred and said in a low voice. **But look towards the bottom, Son of the Heavens, for my sisters and I often anticipate what new days will bring, and it makes our job easier.** Fred then bent to the bottom most part of the Tapestry, and there he saw the woodsman returning home from the council hall, Princess Beth, dinning with her father in the Grand Ballroom, and he also saw Prince Farened, In his bed at Algon's castle, making love to a young chamber maid. **It figures.** thought Fred. Then He bent lower, to the very bottom of the Tapestry, were it waited for the Witchs's hands to continue the Weave, and there he saw the future. There was a long meadow leading to Dragemon's Castle, and in the meadow Fred saw the woodsman raising a hand in greeting to person that Fred could only describe as "himself"

I am moving on My offline life is such, that I am not able to keep up with the responsibilities of being a considerate and updated leader. i will not allow time to go by anymore without taking a more positive action regarding this.

As you all know, Pure Intent has risen to power solely on its noble-hearted members, responsible game playing. Never has one who has cheated or hacked been allowed in or even been drawn to the Purity of this organization.

Even though i shall be leaving, Pure Intent will remain, with the honorable Munkwunk as leader. This decision was not a difficult one as he is known for his kindness, without tolerating lawlessness. Leaving Pure Intent is a letting go process though and i ask only for Munkwunk's patience in letting me take my time in turning over leadership

I know that the morals of Pure Intent will continue on inside of PI, despite the treachery that abounds outside of it.

The Story of the Rose Date: 6/24/1999

As the Lord of the Ancients sat upon his throne and gazed out at the world with heavy heart,He did ask himself is this all there is?, For He had not know love for more than a thousand years. Then one day while gazing upon the Realm of Dragon Court He did spy a mystic glow in the deep silent forest and He did wonder from wince it came, As day became night and the glow did continue He did become curious and sought out its sorce. Then as if from nowhere a most magnifcent flower did appear a beauty He had never known and as He gazed in awe His heart did begin to lighten as the wonder of this most elagant flower did warm his soul.

After days of anquish He made the decision He must seek out the elagant flower for His own, Thusly He did give up his throne and leave the Realm of the Ancients for He would now call the Realm of Dragon Court home. Exiting the forest one sunny day He did come upon a small village and tired from his quest did seek out the local tavern,As He did enter this small out of the way tavern to His amazement His eyes did fall upon the flower He did seek. After a moments hesitation He did approach this flower and to his amazement this flower did accept Him as if it were meant to be and this flower known as Silver Rose did speak with him as if she had known Him always.

So now I Fionnta`n do humbly ask Silver Rose to join Me not as Her King but as My Queen, not as Her Lord but as Her Lover, Not as Her master but Her friend so I humbly as you Silver Rose will you marry me though now I am merely a peasant and I can only offer you me I do hope you will consider My request.

Claydice

From the Attic... Date: 7/16/2000

I found this 'poem' today while I was cleaning, (yes *I* clean) the paper is yellow with age, and their are scribbled out words everywhere...ohterwise this is what it had said (Which I thought was neat to find)

The hunger for adventure, the lust for life
Where has it all gone? I want it back but what can I do
Have I grown old so fast in so few years?
I wanted to settle down to have a place of my own
Where my loved ones could go when they come home
A place on a hill near a valley so green
With the trees all around would shut out the world
And leave me in peace to my thoughts and my dreams
So many things that you and I shared are gone forever
The life I've loved and lost
Because of one word one dead unforgiven
I do love you, please believe that's true
But I could not live a lie with you
A few memories are all that is left
Of a time where happiness (something) supreme
But you took that away in one selfish act
Now all is lost but my memories of you.
