Understanding Your Shop

- Color Coordination is key to a great shop look. Yellow, purple, and neon green don't mix. Make your shop visually pleasing as well as pricingly pleasing.
- Don't sell anything at a price you wouldn't buy it for. Honestly, would you pay 900 Np on a hot dog?
- Using the Shop Wizard is so essential to good prices in your shop. Look for an item. Remember: The Shop Wizard only looks at one section of the shops at a time. To get the prices of everyone carrying that item on neopets, press the 'Refresh' button a million times 'til you find an excellent price.
- Get free items and put them in your shop. Go to The Healing Springs, The Money Tree, and The Snowager. Sell them for the cheapest on the Wiz- who cares, if you got it for free, it's all profit, right?
- PEOPLE DON'T READ SHOP DESCRIPTIONS. If you have long, complicated rules to buying from your shop, people aren't going to read them, and I can promise it. Keep things simple and everyone will get along.
- Contests are cool, but not allowed. If you insist on having a contest in your shop, do not make it one with cheap items at jacked up prices. Those are too easy for people to cheat at. You could make a 'Whoever buys the Mystery Item wins a prize' contest, but if people are actually going to win it, don't make the Mystery Item the most expensive thing in your shop.
