- There is not, has never been, and never will be a super-easy way to make tons of Np fast. You can invest in as many cheats as you want, but the bottom line is: selling items in your shop is the way to make Np. Lots of people get tricked by scammers because they are at a loss and want to be rich now. Success takes patience: just sell stuff in your shop.
- Don't spend every waking hour playing games. The only games that are worth playing are: The Weel of Fortune, The Fruit Machine, Colitzan's Shrine, The Scratchcard Kiosk, The Snowager, The Stock Market, & The Giant Omelette. Most of these are cheap or handout games, and they don't take too long. They also reward in food, magic items, or money. Sweet!
- Never underestimate the power of the Shop Wizard. Use him, and use him wisely. He compares prices for you: it's the height of laziness. he'll go see who's beating you in price comparison's for your shop.
- Don't waste your time on piddly little items. Items like shampoo, eyeshadow, and clothes are a complete waste of time. They do nothing to your pet, and personally I think Neopets is better off without them. They're only worth up to about 100 np each, and that's not even the big bucks.
- Don't play Neopets late at night.While the rest of the world is in Slumberland, you are glued, with bloodshot eyes, to your computer. You ask yourself Why are prices so high right now? and I feel for you: I really do. But anything that was cheap in everyone's prices were bought and stocked by other peope hours ago.
- Never be a beggar. If you are really so poor that you're begging people for free handouts, you can go to the Soup Kitchen or the Money Tree. No one has the right to beg at Neopets with all the free games there, and I'm surprised I see it as often as I do.
- Go easy on the HTML. Stay away from animated backgrounds and images in your shop. They hurt people's eyes, take forever to load, and look tacky. I don't care how many people think an angel doll with a million little glittery things look 'cute', the bottom line is: no one else thinks so, and they won't want to come back to your shop.
- Don't be a meanie! be nice to people on Neopets: such as, don't leave nasty neomails for people that say You need to lower your prices. How do you stay in business. Remember: always be the gentleman or Southern Belle. Don't call people stupid in the chats, and don't spam the boards with shop ads.
- IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIKE WHAT YOUR PET LOOKS LIKE IN THE DRAWINGS FOR THE BEAUTY CONTEST, THEY'LL VOTE FOR YOUR PET ON THEIR OWN. If your drawing isn't in first place, get over it, deal with it, and don't spam the boards.
