| My father Larry McDonald, was greatly impacted by the War and his involvement in D-Day on June 6th 1944. This is a photograph taken of my father soon after arriving., while my dad was a medic. |

| My father told me stories about friends he had made and lost during the war. He also told me that when one of his friends died he would take an identification or any other memory so he could give it to the family of the deceaced. |
