War is imminent between Israel and Syria.
This war has as a result the complete destruction of Damascus the capital city of Syria "Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap" (Isaiah 17:1).
Damascus is a large city with 5 million residents and according to history it was never destroyed before. Such destruction can only take place now that the nuclear bomb is discovered.
Israel tried to make peace treaty of a broad nature with Syria and Egypt right after the 1973 Yom Kippur war.
Egypt indeed made peace treaty of broad nature with Israel which stands until today.
However, Syria denied such a treaty and continues to deny it until today.
In addition to that, Syria is arming itself with the most contemporary weapon systems obtained from Russia, its main ally; rockets, airplanes, biological weapons of mass destruction, like the VX nerve gas which is deadly and can get inside the body through the pores of the skin, and chemical weapons of mass destruction. It is believed that Syria is loaded with various kinds of chemical weapons.
Syria performed recently various military exercises behind the Golan Hights and it is believed that it is ready for a surprise attack against Israel.
Its goal is not just the capture of the Golan Hights but the annihilation of Israel.
The cities of Aroer which are mentioned in Isaiah 17:2 are located inside Jordan close to the capital city of Jordan the city Amman.
For this reason Jordan, in spite of the peace treaty of broad nature which it recently made with Israel (1994), supports Syria in the case of war and gets defeated along with Syria as Isaiah 17:2 states "The cities of Aroer are forsaken... ."
Jordan consists of the ancient tribes of the Moabites and Ammonites which are the ancestors of Lot, and of the Edomites which are the ancestors of Hsau.
These tribes have always been against Israel. Various prophesies talk about the destruction and capture of Jordan by Israel (Jeremiah 49:1-2, Obadiah 1:18-19, Zachariah 12:6, Isaiah 11:11-14, Amos 9:11-12).
Egypt even though it has made a peace treaty of broad nature with Israel since 1979, performed recently an extended military exercise with the objective goal the capture of Israeli land.
Also it has announced that in the case of war between Israel and Syria, Egypt will support Syria. However, Egypt is not mentioned in Isaiah 17.
It is believed that Israel is not ready to face the terrible biological and chemical weapons which Syria disposes today.
So when the war breaks up with Syria, in the case that the people of Israel find themselves endangered by the biological and the chemical weapons of mass destruction, Israel most likely will use the nuclear power option, the nuclear bomb, the option "Sampson" as it is named, to cause exemplary mass destruction to Syria, the destruction of Damascus, and to impose peace with Syria and with the remaining neiboring Arabic countries, with the thread of a second nuclear bomb.
In this war Israel surely is victorious just like it was victorious with the wars and operations during the last 50 years:
1948 - war of independence,
1956 - operation Kates,
1967 - war of the 6 days,
1973 - war Yom Kippur,
1976 - operation airport Entebbe, Uganda,
1978 - operation Litany,
1981 - operation Nuclear Plant of Iraq,
1982 - operation peace for Galilee,...
In this war with Syria, Israel captures some additional land from Syria and perhaps from Jordan and Egypt.
However, Israel probably suffers to a certain degree from the Syrian biological and chemical weapons which affect negatively the health of the people of Israel and the land of Israel (Isaiah 17:4).
God promised that He will destroy the enemies of Israel in the last days but He will also punish Israel in order to repent. However, He will not allow its complete destruction (Jeremiah 30:11).
As soon as Israel neutralizes its neighboring enemy countries, quickly cleanses its land from all the terrorist groups.
After the victorious war of Israel against Syria and perhaps other neighboring countries, and the cleansing of the area from the terrorist groups, it is believed that Israel is "at rest" and "dwells safely" until the commencement of the Third World War (Isaiah 17:12-14).
The main goal of the Third World War is the annihilation of Israel.
Ezekiel 38 and 39 mentions in detail the Third World War which does not take place until Israel "rests" and "dwells safely" (Ezekiel 38:8,11,14).
We are close to the Second Presence of Jesus on the earth.
The war between Israel and Syria brings us one step closer to the global government of the dictator Antichrist. The Antichrist enslaves the world with his global economic system and forces the people to take the "Mark of the Beast" on their right hand or on their forehead ("Mark of the Beast" = "Microprocessor Chip Implant"), ("Beast" = "Antichrist"). Without the "Mark of the Beast" it is impossible for anybody to either buy or sell anything.
The ones who refuse "cooperation" with the system of the Antichrist, end up in the concentration camps which are installed in many countries of the world and consequently get eliminated. The system of the Antichrist uses the high technology of the 21st century to survey and control a large number of people on the face of the earth. Indeed there is no way out. There are two options. The Antichrist or Jesus.
The option Antichrist gives to you the potential to live in the system of the Antichrist by worshipping him as your god and by taking the "Mark of the Beast" in your body. However, this option secures for you the wrath of God which is sent to the people during the "7 Years of Tribulation" and also secures for you death and everlasting hell when Jesus returns to the earth at His Second Presence.
The choice of Jesus offers to you everlasting life with God and protection from the wrath of God during the "7 Years of Tribulation." However, this choice puts you in opposition to the Antichrist and his system, with the probable result your death, the death of a martyr, if this is allowed by God. At the Second Presence of Jesus, if you are dead you are raised from the dead and along with the remaining alive Christians you meet Jesus in the clouds right after you receive your incorruptible body, your supernatural body, which has the same attributes as the body of Jesus.
Jesus eliminates the Antichrist, destroys his system and reigns on (governs) the earth for 1000 years while you reign (govern) along with Him. Afterwards, God creates a new earth and a new heaven... . Certainly it is impossible for somebody to comprehend the important plans of Jesus for them that choose Him and love Him.
If you want to follow Jesus you must be born again by believing in Him and confessing Him as your personal Savior and Lord. It is also imperative to joint a local church and to start fellowshiping with other born again Christians (John 3:3+16+36, Romans 3:23, 5:8, 6:23, 10:9+10+13, II Corinth. 5:17+21)!
If you want to follow Jesus you can start right now with this confession and prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in You and I accept You as my personal Savior and as my Lord. Forgive all my sins and wash me, cleanse me, sanctify me, with Your holy blood which You shed on the cross of Golgotha. My Heavenly Father, I praise You and I worship You. I thank You because now I'm Your child. Please protect me through the '7 Years of Tribulation' and help me to stay faithful to Jesus until the end, amen!"
