2. Tell us a little more about yourself. What's your personality like? Any bad habits? Any passions or
ambitions? Any hobbies? What are your likes and dislike?
No. Okay, I guess I can't get away with that one, huh? I'm a smart mouth. I admit it. If something (or
someONE) is around me that I deem "really stupid", I have to comment on it. Of course, sometimes that gets
me in trouble -- but I usually make sure I'm around my bigger, stronger friends when I do make my comments. *Grins* I'm not one to be openly mean to anyone, though. I'm only mean to those that are mean to me first. I'm a talkative, expressive person. I use my hands a lot when I talk, to the point where I'll accidentally whack someone with an arm without even thinking. I'm not one to hide my emotions very well-- happiness, sadness, anger... What you see is what you get with me. I'm big on art. Sometimes I'll skip a meal just to go to the art museum. I like drawing wherever there's a blank space, and I bought myself a cheap little paint set so I can start learnin' myself to paint. Bad habits? Well, I chew on my fingernails. That's pretty disgusting. I can't help it, though -- when I'm nervous, my fingers go straight to my mouth, and I start gnawing. And, of course, the whole "talking without thinking" thing I tend to do, even though that's not so bad, is it? My ambition? If I could, I'd move to Paris and live off my sketchings and paintings. Too bad I ain't good enough for that yet. One day, though.
3. Now it's not like we're blind or anything, but how would you describe your outward apperance?
Tall. *Grins* I'm 5'8". I have almost no muscle on my top half, but my legs are strong. They have to be when you're a newsie, you know. All that standing around you do. I'm tan from almost always being outside. My hair is black, and it's thick and curly, draping my shoulders. It helps keep the wind off my neck, at
least. I have dark brown eyes, and though I try to avoid wearing them as much as possible, I have glasses, because I'm blind as a bat. I only try to wear them when I'm working on a sketch or a painting.
4. Not to pry into your business, but could you possibly tell us a little about your past?
What's to say? I was born and raised in Flushing. My mother's a maid, my father's... dead or missing. I'm
not sure. I've heard completely different stories on what happened to him. Sounds like a bum, though, so I
really don't let that get me down. I left my house when I was around 13 to go make money as a newsie, and
I've been on my own ever since. I still go home every once in a while so my mother doesn't worry about me,
and I send her some of the money I made every week. It ain't much, but it helps her out.
5. Do you have any living family members? If so, do they reside in New York?
My mother, my three uncles, and my hundreds of cousins. *Smirks* They all live in Flushing. Don't
know about my dad, like I said before.
6. How about relationships? *Grins* Got a sweetheart or anything? Tell us a little bit about your
significant other, or the one you admire from afar. *Wink*
I don't have a sweetheart or someone I admire. And don't ever ask me that again.
7. Why did you decide to join our Second Heaven community?
I wanted a little place to call my own. Okay, so it's not really mine or anything, but I feel like a little bitty piece of it is mine, and that's enough for me.
