My real name's Kaya Patricia Crisostomo, but my nickname's Ershey. Others just call me Ersh, but any wold work. Weird nickname, I know, but it just stuck. I'm currently 17 and birthday's March 20th if you needed to know.
2. Tell us a little more about yourself. What's your personality like? Any bad habits? Any passions or ambitions? Any hobbies? What are your likes and dislikes?
What's my personality like? First off, I'm usually shy around people I don't know... but don't worry, once I get used to the place and the people around me, I loosen up. I like to meet and make new friends, as long as they have trust and respect, I'm theirs. Hmm... I'm also a really good listener and easy to talk to, so whenever somebody has a problem or needs to emote I'm up for a talk session... of course, unless, I'm not interested. I'm spontaneous, lazy, impatient, and incredibly optimistic. I also have a habit of singing or humming out of the blue... especially in a good mood, being talkative counts on that too. Even though I can be real happy, I have my days too... I can be real serious if I want to, have a big temper, and basically defend myself. But other than that, I'm real friendly and I always end up having a soft spot for everyone. I'll work hard to anything I put my mind to and I also tend to think with my heart instead of my mind... ay, if that makes any sense at all...
3. Now it's not like we're blind or anything, but how would you describe your outward appearance?
I ain't much like the other people walking around here, though maybe its just me being conscious with my tanned skin, making it a light brown. I think it's from staying out too much in the sun, y'know? You can't really help it if you're a newsie. I have black hair that ends past my shoulders, making it wavy at the ends... which I absolutely hate. My eyes are also a dark brown, kinda shaped like almonds. It's the one thing I like about myself. I ain't too tall or short either, or at least I think so since I stand a 5'4''. I know, I know, first impression you see of me is that I'm skinny as a pole, but that's just the way I am. I ain't trying to starve myself, y'know? I guess I inherited it from some distant relative or something... but really, I'm stronger than I actually look, I swear!
4. Not to pry into your business, but could you possibly tell us a little about your past?
I've lived in New York all my life - maybe except some of my family who came from Spain - and I never really had a place to call home since we, er, I constantly had to move around from one place to another. My family... well, goodness knows where my Father is... never knew him. Never even saw him. I stayed with my mother and my little brother as long as I could. There was always something my mother was running away from, which is why we couldn't really stay in one place, y'see? We were also dirt poor so it wasn't an improvement. It didn't take long for my brother and I to get separated from my mother, actually... I think he lost us, or that's what I keep on thinking. My brother? He ended up in an orphanage while I ended up on the streets. I never really saw him again.
5. Do you have any living family members? If so, do they reside in New York?
I know I have some relatives of mine running around here in New York, but I lost track of 'em somehow...
6. How about relationships? *Grins* Got a sweetheart or anything? Tell us a little bit about your significant other, or the one you admire from afar. *Wink*
Sweetheart? Me? Nah, I just came to the place... I wouldn't mind having one though, that's for sure...
7. Why did you decide to join our Second Heaven Community?
I heard about it from some newsies 'round and thought it'd be a good place to stay.
