Chenoa
1. What's your full birth name? And your nick name?
And while we're on a role, how about your age?

*a young indian girl kneeling on the floor beating
softly on a drum whispers up to the question* Chenoa
l'angel Eshapiaeah(e-shop-e-eh-yah) *switches to a
more erratic drum beat* i have 17 summers.

2. Tell us a little more about yourself. What's your
personality like? Any bad habits? Any passions or
ambitions? Any hobbies? What are your likes and
dislikes?

im serious.. too serious, some say. i merely think
more than the average person. *lightly taps her
temple* i dont speak much to those i do not know,
because actions speak more of a persons personality
than that of words. words can sometimes betray the
true meaning. bad habits, well than.. let the list
being *laughs softly* i dont brush my hair.. and i
dont see that as a bad habit but hey, what works for
me may not for others. i carry my drum with me
everywhere.. i tend to block people from the way i
really feel.i know its bad, and truly, unlike a person
as quiet as myself.. but i love watching fights
*glances aroudn as if guilty and presses a finger to
her lips* but shh, dont tell. *smirks*i would love,
for one day, to teach children. *looks off at an
unknown point on the wall* tell them the stories of
our country, of its birth. tell those hopeful eyes of
what they could become and give them hope.. but i am
on the street sellin' papes. this is a ironic trick on
me, i believe.* shakes head lightly and comes out of
her daze**entrusts a beautiful smile to the
questioner* as for hobbies, i like to play the drum. i
have one, that my father made for me. i like beautiful
eyes , mysteries, a challenge,  kids, watching a
candle take to flame, and listening to the water on
the docks. i deteste cats, the color purple, and
ribbons in a girls hair. *shakes her head**lifts a
hand to her head and rub her temples* i have horrid
headaches that have plagued me since i was a child.
they make me irritable. when i am uncomfortable or
unfamilar with people, i become very quiet and
reserved. im slow to trust, which sometimes comes off
as arrogance. dont be fooled.

3. Now it's not like we're blind or anything, but how
would you describe your outward appearance?

i have long, black hair, with random small braids. my
eyes are black, like the alleys of brooklyn. i've
myself a fair shape, but i claim no take on
beauty-of-the-year. *smoothing her red skirt* i have
the look of my mother. though that doesnt help you
much, now does it? *laughs at herself* i have a scar
on my right hand in the shape of a star. it was a
symbol for my mothers people, and though i lived in
France, my mother thought it best to bestow this shape
to me.

4. Not to pry into your business, but could you
possibly tell us a little about your past?

of course. i am a Native American descendant. i also
am part French. an odd combination, no? *puts her drum
aside and stands* i am very proud of my heritage. my
mother ,Chilali, was Native American, my father, a
Frenchman by the name of Faucon. they had one child,
myself. i was born in Lyon, France. i lived there
until i reached the age of 13. i speak french fairly
well, but i am not nearly fluent.* laughs and seems
shocked at such an idea* we moved to the America's
when my mothers father died. we had to travel to Italy
to catch a ship. my mother caught a sickness on the
voyage over. *begins moving restlessly about the room*
when we arrived to the country, we reached my
grandfather in time for him to pass on. a mere 3 days
after, my mother followed suit. *sighing softly* my
heartbroken father took me far away from my indian
relatives and took me here, to New York. 3 years later
, my father disappeared. *her voice taking on an angry
quality* no ones knows to where. i havent seen him
sine i was 16, and i dont believe he is coming back.

5. Do you have any living family members? If so, do
they reside in New York?

*stills**turns and walks back to her drums* my only
family has disappeared , whether into the otherworlds
or into the darkness, they are lost to me.*picks up
her steady drum beat*

6. How about relationships? *Grins* Got a sweetheart
or anything? Tell us a little bit about your
significant other, or the one you admire from afar.
*Wink*

ha, what boy is man enough to handle all of my extra
turbulance.*smirks at such an idea* no New Yorker
needs extra stress. though i am not opposed to anyone
trying.

7. Why did you decide to join our Second Heaven
Community?

i needed.. do need.. someone to get me through the
days.. this seemed like the place to find those
people.
