The 2002 Support To Extended Families Caring For Children was again introduced on June 7, 2004 to the Community Services Committee and the Regional Municipality of Niagara Council and subsequently approved on June 17, 2004.
On June 18, 2004 the Regional Chair submitted correspondence plus the 2004 documentation to the following Ministers at Queen's Park:

Minister of Community and Social Services
and
Marie Bountrogianni
Minister of Children's Services
