Wannabe Punks
I dont like wannabe punks * disclaimer.....i am not a punk nor have i claimed to be one*. Punk used to be about your political view and the music you listen to,and it was a special few. Now every person and their brother think that it is the in thing to do and don't give a shit about any of the issues being punk stood for. Now its if I dye my hair black and gage my ears to a double zero I'll call myself punk, and everyone is doing it. EVERYONE! Also besides the point, there are only a selected few who look good with black hair, and that is a very small portion of the kids at our own school that have dyed there hair black. Also, what's really stupid is thinking your punk because you listen to Thursday or The Ataris...music was a big part of punk in the 80's and 70's but that was because the people behind had the same issues.... the music is still great it's just it's not what makes a punk. I like Alkaline Trio and Brand New but that doesn't mean I automatically am going to consider myself punk becaue I know I'm not. Punk... have you ever thought how silly that word is? Think about it punk...not to be off subject or anything, but it's just so strange. Ok, I'm done now.
