Michael Brown is a native of Trenton, New Jersey. He entered the ministry in 1975 and has been preaching ever since. Bro. Brown has served as Minister of the Point Breeze Avenue church of Christ (Philadelphia, PA), as Associate Minister of the Clinton Avenue church of Christ (Trenton, NJ), and as Campus Minister for the Northwest church of Christ (Huntsville, AL). Bro. Brown began working as Minister of the Second Avenue congregation in December of 1994.
Bro. Brown holds an A.S. degree from Northeastern Christian Junior College, a B.A. degree from Geneva Collge, Master of Religion and Master of Divinity degrees from David Lipscomb University, and is candidate for the Doctor of Ministry from Harding University. His first publication, "Get Thine House In Order" was released in 1998. His second publication, "Let's Stay Together" was released in 1999. Besides his ministerial duties, Bro. Brown works as a Senior Systems Consultant for Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama, where he and his wife Linda currently make their home.
