Just a split second for a quick smile. My small team of 4 had 110 kids at this location in San Miguel Duenos, Guatemala. We taught the significance of each bead in the salvation bracelet, then we made them. But just getting to this place was another one of my "Indiana Jones" type adventures. It was torrential rain, that is why we only had 110!!!! The "road" was totally treacherous, hard to see, through a valley. We were praying all the way, what is new!! :-)

Just one of the tables of kids from Santa Catalina Barahona, Guatemala. They're working on making frames for the photo I took of them the month before. Our teaching was from Deuteronomy 23:5, instilling in them that God loves them. Each frame had the words "DIOS ME AMA" as a reminder.

About 10 miles from San Salvador, El Salvador is a Christian school.
Many
of the children seen here are sponsored through Compassion
International.
I did some translating of their letters to sponsors in the states. One
girl
in particular at this school is the oldest of eight kids. The family
lives
very typically without electric, running water, or bathroom. She is a
precious girl and only because someone cares she can attend school.
