Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelopes

The assigned numbers are just the order used by TAD when creating these.

This recent Sunday afternoon, the Envelopes were randomly picked and opened in no particular order.

#1 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- LSU –There are no Scholars on the LSU roster to win the 12th Annual Darren McDuffie Award. No effect.

#2 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- Georgia - Ian Mutchnik was much better than all the experts thought. Enough to beat out Orenfro Carrico for Alabama's "Mr. Basketball". Take a bonus roll now, in each of the 5 improvement categories. (Before his initial freshman improvement rolls.)  You can use an 8-sided dice for one of them (your choice) and a 6-sided die for the others. He also gets one bonus roll, with a 6-sided die, in one area of your choice, during his sophomore year improvements.

#3 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- Vanderbilt-  The SEC Dupere of Events, after negotiating a new water deal for the SEC Tournament, accepts a drastically lower bid for Nino's Water,  from the Brown River in Mississippi. KaneSprings Natural Water is not available on the Vandy bench for the quarterfinal game against LSU. Nino's Water  is so murky the Vandy players refuse to drink it during the game. Due to the risk of dehydration, the stamina of all Vandy players is affected. It probably wouldn't have mattered.

#4 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- State - Buster Coombs takes his Academic Coordinator's advice and immediately suspends both Earl Hooten and Richard McKenzie. Both players must roll this summer, and the chance of maintaining eligibility for next year and progressing towards graduation is better than not.

#5 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- Tennessee - The Professor doesn't have the problem of player(s) expecting to start that is (are) not. If he had, those players would absolutely hate him. No effect.

#6 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- Alabama- In-coming recruit Rayjuan Redding in a gang-related incident is shot and killed. 

#7 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- Florida - Darryl Dues is no true freshman come tournament time. His sophomore rolls for defense and rebounding can be taken now. These rolls come into effect right away for the SEC Tournament. Rolled 1 for defense and 3 for rebounding.

#8 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- Kentucky- Warren Rucker is this incoming recruit. Rolls will be necessary during summer improvements to determine if Rucker honors his commitment to Kentucky, or goes to MIT, UConn, or is re-recruited without any changes to his original recruiting grid.

#9 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope- Auburn- The Auburn Basketball program's secretary,Olga, is busier than ever, especially with the head coaching situation unresolved. The administration allows her to hire a second secretary to ease her work load. Instructed to hire someone she can work with, she chooses her niece, Helvi, who has just arrived from her native Finland. This 6'3 blond Nordic beauty is sure to catch the eye of Paavo Taavi during his official campus visit next summer. Take one extra roll on Paavo's recruitment next summer.

#10 Pre-Tourney 2007 Envelope Ole Miss-  Johnny Quarles is the only TM'er on the Ole Miss roster. No one else knows the particulars of this incident, and Ole Miss Coach Bob Maxfield better not find out about it either. However, after eating the leftover sausage sandwich from Nino's, Ole Miss Coach Bob Maxfield notices an unusual feeling of stimulation and a burst of energy. Take one free ENERGY ROLL.
