| I've finally had a chance to take photos of some of the costumes I designed and built for this show. It was important to have full range of motion towards the conclusion of the show with all of the quick scene changes and room in my abdomen to breathe and for a baby! |

![]() Scene: "Our Children" This empire bodice dress was constructed in 8 basic pieces three times. The outerlayer of antique relplica lace is the part you see, but underneath is the dress of off-white satin and the underdress of an off-white cotton-poly blend. The sleeves are double hemmed for an added detail. The dress was constructed to handle a tremendously quick scene change for many performances and two years later, is still being used! This look was accessorized with white pearls and my signature handkerchief. |
![]() Scene: "Back to Before" This (my second favorite of all of my costumes from this show) was used in the ten 'o clock showstopper, "Back to Before." It is also in 8 pieces and contains three layers. The outerlayer of lace is an antique replica pattern in gold, the slate blue underdress is a brushed satin and the dress keeps its shape with an off-white cotton-poly underdress. The sleeves were lengthened and a ruffle detail was added. The rosette provides a pretty and necessary detail to hide the skirt drape of the lace. The look was accessorized with gold beaded jewelry and a large gold neclace featuring a large oval-shaped bloodstone pendant. |
