Makeup & Hair Design. One thing that is interesting about doing community theatre is that you have an opportunity to be creative in many ways. I have been lucky to design, build and create characters for myself through costume, hair and makeup design. Here is a snapshot of the makeup and hair design for my role as the Narrator. There are sequins on my face for added effect under the lights (which also coordinate with my costume) and my hair was designed to (1) keep shadow off of my face and (2) to easily wire and secure a body mic into my hairline.
