TITAN VIPER
With the sheer number of bivvies on the market nowadays it's often hard to decide which one to chose but with most things in life you really do get what you pay for and if paying for things is you're thing then the titan viper is for you, with its £330 price tag it should be good and I'm happy to say it is good.
When I first got my viper home and opened the bag to see an instructional video I thought 'oh no this is going to complicated' but to my surprise after watching the video it was sheer simplicity to put up the basic structure can be put up in around 30 seconds with practice and the hole bivvy can be put up in around a minute and 30 seconds (clip in ground sheet model).
Although you can still get the breathable material viper if you give Nashy a ring the slippery eel is far better in my mind and the condensation is surprisingly low compared to what you might think with a single skin bivvy.
As Nashy says on the video there are only two ways a viper can be destroyed, (not including stupid things like steam rollers) if the angler losses control while setting up in difficult conditions or if the pegs fail and the second really is important so get you're self some Nashy stealth 12" bivvy pegs because, as jules says in carp world 124, that 4" really does make the difference between you're viper being rock solid on the bank or you worrying all night that you're bivvy could fly away.
When it comes to packing away Kevin nash has really been generous on the size of the bag, it fits in so easily
