SOLAR SOD POD

Some good points about he Solar sod pod is that it is compact. All neatly fits into a black plastic tube that comes with it that easily stores in most pockets of your rod carryall, it also means that should any of the legs or extensions unscrew in transit they wont be lost! It is 100% Stainless. 100% weatherproof which make all the difference. Good adjustability and stability. Legs and uprights extend and should fit 90% of all your fishing requirements. It is sensibly priced, you get what you pay for. It’ll last a lifetime and therefore is not too expensive IMHO.

Pozi-Lok. Now available is Pozi-lok on the uprights as standard, no more twisting the buzzers to get them straight, now you can tighten the collar on the upright to meet the buzzer.

Some bad points are that because the pod relies on metal on metal connections (ie where all the legs are screwed up to the end bosses) they can have a tendency to loosen or not be able to tighten them up as firmly as you might like. However this is easily fixed through using either a rubber or leather washer (leather is best!) in between the joints. At around 3lbs in weight its not light but the reliability of 100% stainless makes up for that.

The length of the pod fully extended my not be enough to get your butt rings behind your buzzer especially on long range rods, however it is possible to purchase an extendable add on which will make it reach.
