Need a crew for your bluewater cruise? Look no further!
We are a couple in our 30's with good sailing experience looking for blue water sailing. We are good cooks, happy to undertake any duties on board and share expenses. We took a sabbatical year in 2006 (see itinerary below). We are both native French speakers and speak English fluently (we lived and worked in the UK for 8 years).
Prior to our big trip, most of our sailing experience was gained in various locations around the UK. Our sailing ground was the picturesque East coast of England, where we regularly sailed a 33ft Wauquiez Gladiateur, of which we owned a share. We are always looking for new adventures in distant shores and are eager to sail in warmer climates. We are both keen travellers and thoroughly enjoy visiting foreign countries and discovering other cultures.
As we are keen to experience a trans-oceanic passage, we will also consider helping with yacht deliveries.
Our itinerary for 2006 was as follows:
Jan 20 to Apr 15: Central America (crew on board 43' Wauquiez)
Apr 15 to Jun 29: Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Easter Island
Jun 30 to End Sept: New Zealand and East Coast of Australia:
End Sept to End Oct: Bali, Singapore:
End Oct to Jan 19: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, HK, India (Rajasthan)
