OPENING OF EXHIBITS

As a part of celebrating the feast of St. Ezekiel Moreno and St. Augustine opening of exhibits was conducted at the back of the canteen on St. Ezekiel Moreno Lobby last August 19, 2002.

The event started at around 9:30 in the morning and was participated both by the high school and college department. Different posters and dioramas from the student participants, the evolution of the school uniform, and the past members of the administrations were also displayed.

HIGH SCHOOL SYMPOSIUM

With the theme, "Media Challenging The Youth", the annual high school symposium was held last August 22 at 2 in the afternoon at the College Auditorium. The said event was attended by the Fourth year high school students, some high school faculty members and facilitated by the Student Catholic Action.

The Master of Ceremony was Arianne Angela Solis, the president of the Student Catholic Action. The opening prayer and the national anthem was presided by Kharen Añonuevo and Colleen Camagong, respectively. The opening remarks was given by Mr. Ruel del Rosario, the adviser of the Student Catholic Action. The event's guest speaker was Mr. Bernard Cañaberal, the host of the Family Rosary Crusade. Mr. Cañaberal delivered a talk on how the media has influenced the young people of today. After the talk proper, Jessa Alvarez, a student from IV - St. Augustine performed a song number.

Ian Encarnacion, the president of the High School Student Council, gave the closing remarks while Rev. Fr. James Bumangabang, OAR, Dean of Theology and SSC-R's Campus Minister, presented the Plaque of Appreciation to Mr. Cañaberal. The program came to its end at around 5 in the afternoon.

CULTURAL PRESENTATION

Members of Student Catholic Action poses during the Cultural Celebration

As a finale of the celebration, the Sebastinian community gathered to adhere the Cultural Presentation held last August 30, 2002, 6 in the evening at St. Ezekiel Moreno Lobby. Student participants showcased their talents through singing, dancing and acting.

The Sebastinian Chorus sang the National Anthem as the opening number. High School organizations namely the Student Catholic Action, (SCA) and the Dance and Drama Co. participated the said event and presented their own production numbers.

Various groups from the college department have also performed that evening. as the closing number, the JPCS presented a song related to the year's celebrated theme.
