Poetry
This place is for all my poems. They are original, inspired by what I see, feel, and contemplate. They reflect my soul, what I do, who I am.

I will be putting them in order starting with the most recent.

All of these poems are my property. If you want to use any of them, e-mail me.

I wear you in my mind
Compass points always to you
Focus, like meditation
In everything I do.
All aspects, completely at once
Transcendent in nature
Lifting me to conscious clouds
This creature of reason you capture.

(Growing Up)                            8-14-04

This being unsewed
Makes me not certain
I need be removed
To be my own person
Stiched together
With these people
All my life
Now in reversal
The best thing for me
Hurts the most
Severing dull pain
I look at a new coast
Different is good
Change is enduring
Epic transition
This new breath I'm pursuing.

                                                8-12-04

Strange in a book
About things you took
Reservation and fear
Writing 'bout you, dear
Still I'm reserved
This thought goes unheard
Now that it's plain
Will it put on a strain?
I'm crazy and new
Writing 'bout you
I feel for you an hour
Then emotion goes sour.

He is my waterfall
That forever source of flow
The massive height
I'm scared that he should know.
To touch his skin
Is light that is faster
This being apart
Is the thing I can't master.
The powerful rain
He makes inside,
It might scare him to know
That last night I cried.
                                                 8-9-04

No more could I have
Tensed the air
But with a question
Defining our pair.
I let things rest
The Taoist way
But prod with query
The peaceful cay.
Mutual attraction
Is all I asked
Now I fear
I must be taxed.

                                                  8-3-04

Let it bathe me
Diluted light
Soft luminescence
Encompass blight.
Meld with this skin
Glow towards peace
Soothe my expansion
Die, 'tis a beast.

                                                7-22-04

He should hold me
Tigher than a vice of might
Not caressing only
Forsaking other for my sight.
Return my spark
I would give to him free
Fire, no dark
Our passion, ignite the night.

Mr. Evil Man                               7-3-04

Evil man has a regime so taught
To important matters he gives no thought.
Kill, bang, murder is on his mind
Enforcing laws of discrimintating kind
Gives no heed to what is best
Follows not what the Nations suggest.
Listen to the people, Mr. Evil,
Not ones constantly in the cathedral
Best yet, you need to leave
So no more corpses we'll have to heave.
Mr. Preisident, I mean evil, no guns
Nor bombs, we'll have to get your mess
undone.
