Tigers AND Jayhawks welcomed!
If you're like most Seattle-area residents and can't make the historic "Armageddon at Arrowhead" in KC in person ...

Then please join the Seattle/Puget Sound chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association for
"Arrowhead Northwest 2007!" We'll be joined by some of our local Kansas alums/friends at ...

Spitfire
(It's the OFFICIAL TV watch party site for the local Kansas and Mizzou alumni chapters. So there should be plenty of Tigers and Jayhawks in attendance!)
Seattle's Belltown neighborhood
4th Avenue, between Bell and    Blanchard
(206) 441-7966
http://www.spitfireseattle.com
Full menu; excellent food.

Gametime is 5 p.m (Pacific). BUT PLEASE ARRIVE VERY EARLY!  We'll have a section of the sports bar, but the Apple Cup is at 4 p.m. in Seattle, so the bar could be busy.

PLEASE RSVP, if possible: If you plan to attend, it would be much appreciated if you would let [email protected] AND [email protected] (please RSVP to both e-mail addresses) know in advance, for planning purposes.

Whether you're a Tiger or Jayhawk, feel free to bring friends, family, co-workers and props! Spread the word!

And, lastly ...
ROCK CHALK!!!
and, of course ...
MIZ-ZOU!
PLEASE NOTE: Only civil, appropriate behavior between our rival fans will be accepted, as both teams pursue their dream of a first-ever Big 12 North championship and a possible berth in the BCS National Championship Game. This event is an opportunity to celebrate living together in the beautiful Pacific Northwest; to enjoy our unprecedented seasons; to bask in the national attention this incredible rivalry is finally receiving; to be grateful for our short time at both of these great schools; to thank both coaches for their loyalty; and to see who deserves even bigger spoils THIS year. It is NOT intended to be an opportunity to demean and insult our opponent. If you seek to do that, go watch the game elsewhere. Both of our seasons have been too memorable for that. Sportsmanship and good will here in Seattle ARE expected. Got it?! See you Saturday!
