One night the news mentions that a strange dog-man has been attacking sector
cops and ripping out their tongues. One cop survived and managed to get a piece
of him before the creature ran off. Max becomes concerned and goes to visit
Joshua. After a quick chat, Max still believes he's innocent. The sector cops had been following this dangerous dog-man and Max was following them, hoping to find answers. She encounters who she thinks is Joshua but behind her Max hears Joshua yelling "Run Isaac!" Max can only watch as the second dog-man runs off and the sector cops swoop in on Joshua. Max breaks Joshua out of prison and they high-tail it back to his house. Joshua tells her about Isaac. When Sandeman vanished, Isaac cried for him night and day. The guards told him to shut up but he couldn't stop crying and calling for Sandeman, even after they beat him. Finally the guards cut out his tongue. Max doesn't want to hurt Isaac but she tells Joshua if Isaac keeps killing she'll have to take care of him. She comes face to face with Isaac and he raises his had to strike her. Joshua pushes Isaac off Max with a rod; it goes right through Isaac and kills him. |
Annie   |
One day a young woman comes up to Joshua's front door. She calls out to see if
anyone's home. When Joshua responds she tells him that no one's lived in the
house for a while and that she got curious when she heard noises from inside.
The whole time she's talking Joshua is surprised she hasn't run away in fear.
Sensing he was starring at her, she says her name is Annie and she's blind.
Joshua tells Annie he's visiting from a place in France and he passes the time by
painting. Joshua falls in love with Annie fast. Alec comes over one day and discovers paintings of Annie. He says the relationship isn't a good idea, even when Joshua tells him that Annie's blind. Alec convinces Joshua to break it off before something happens. Annie later drops by and Joshua tells her he has to go back to France. Annie asks if she can touch Joshua's face, so she can see what he looks like. Alec stands in. Some time later Joshua feels lonely and goes looking for Annie. This gets him and Annie in trouble and they end up in the sewer hiding from the police. In the sewer Joshua tells Annie the truth about himself. She asks to feel his face, for real this time. Joshua lets her. Annie tells Joshua to go and leave her there. Agent White finds her and kills her, so the media can report that a transgenic freak killed an innocent, defenseless, blind girl. |
