Max lives in a
rundown apartment building with her roommate Kendra. Legally they and everyone
else in the building are squatting. A crooked cop named Walter Eastep shows up
each week to "check the squatter situation." Everyone is allowed to stay in the
building as long as he gets paid. The money is collected from everyone on the floor
and Walter goes to Max and Kendra's apartment to pick up the money. The building
doesn't have hot |
running water and since Max loves her baths she has to boil
20 pots of water on the stove to fill the tub. The building also has a rat problem, but
other than these inconveniences, Max calls this little apartment home. |
