Stealing Harvard, starring Jason Lee ("Brodie" of Mallrats) and Tom Green, focuses on John's (Lee's) promise to his niece that if she gets accepted to Harvard, he'd pay for it. Well, she was accepted. The only catch? The money he needs to pay it with is the money his fiancee wants to use to put a downpayment on a house. So how does one go about earning enough to pay tuition to Harvard? Definitely not with a bake sale.
Although the plot allows for many hilarious moments and the combination of Lee and Green should be perfect, Stealing Harvard is mediocre at best. It has funny moments, but was not worth the cost of the ticket to see it. Maybe when it comes out on video, it won't be such a ripoff.
