Hi there Leisa,

Could you send me the policy in the body of an email?  I'm having difficulty with opening attachments at the moment due to my strict "fire-wall."  I've been inundated with viruses lately.

All the best - Kim

Kim Bax's further note to Marc Rowell of 4th Feb 2004:-                TOP

Just another quick reminder Leisa.  If Marc peruses my email of 22nd January 2004, he'll see that it contains 3 very specific questions.  While National/Liberal official policy may address some of those queries - perhaps Marc might want to take a closer look, to make sure those 3 specific questions have been addressed.

All the best - Kim

Goodafternoon Marc,

On the 4th February 2004, I sent Leisa (your secretary), the following note:-

"Just another quick reminder Leisa.  If Marc peruses my email of 22nd January 2004, he'll see that it contains 3 very specific questions.  While National/Liberal official policy may address some of those queries - perhaps Marc might want to take a closer look, to make sure those 3 specific questions have been addressed.

As of to-day, 4 weeks later, I have not had a reply.  You can access my original questions of 22nd January 2004 quite easily at the following link:-

http://www.geocities.com/seatbelts2004/correspondence.htm#email

I appreciate that you sent me the Co-alition policy document on school bus seatbelts (3rd February 2004), however I'm seeking specific responses to each of my questions (22nd January 2004), from each individual member of the Parliament.  This is because the voters in each specific electoral area should be assured that their local member is doing their utmost on this issue.

Look forward to hearing from you again shortly,

All the best - Kim

To underline the seriousness of the problem, here's a link to an article in the Australian Medical Association News (Queensland), concerning a hypothetical school bus accident.  It's written by doctors - and is very graphic:-
