Sequel is one of Samson's pups who was born shortly after Samson had his accident. At that time, I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to breed Samson again, so I kept the only female in the litter. That is how she got her name. Luckily, she wasn't Samson's last.
At 8 weeks old we sent Sequel to a hunting dog trainer in Louisiana, because my husband wanted a hunting dog. The trainer was used to training Labs. After about 2 months he told me that she was the calmest and smartest dog he had ever trained. Instead of payment, he took a male puppy to raise for himself out of the same breeding. He says his male puppy is doing even better then Sequel.

Sequel has passed all of her official clearences .... hips (good)& elbos, heart,and CERF.
