Seasonality was founded by Carla Gallagher in 1983, in downtown Benicia. She is a certified color analyst and make-up artist who focuses on the Seasonal Color Theory developed by Bernice Kentner, author of "Color Me a Season." Carla has also written two books, "Your Personal Style," which covers body typing and figure analysis and "Time to Get Ready," a book written for those job seekers and employees that need help putting together an interview outfit and building a working wardrobe from that basic outfit. In addition, Carla has created a video, "Scarfology with C.G." on scarf tying. Ordering information can be obtained by calling 1-800-MYCOLOR. A recently added feature of Seasonality is Carla's Personal Shopping Service. She began by shopping for shut-ins, and through the years her shopping service has grown to include busy people and corporate accounts as well as those with special needs. From groceries to office furniture, she has matched clients to items for years. Carla also does fashion shows, is an American Cancer Society "Look Good, Feel Better" facilitator and offers lectures to clubs and organizations. One interesting project she is currently working on is of special interest to women: In ancient times the wisdom of life experiences were handed down from generation to generation as a part of the local culture. Now, our lack of time and spread out families do not allow such leisurely methods of learning. I am
editing a collection of memories, games and tips that make child rearing and family development easier. Basically, I am looking for things that you learned, that you wish someone had told you or that would have made life much easier.
