POLYTHEISM

IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

1: Worshipping Jesus:

The Bible affirms Polytheism, especially the New Testament strongly affirms it. In the New Testament, the Greek word "proskuneo" is used, which means "worship". King James Version translated "proskuneo"; as "worship", without altering the original Greek word. But some later versions of the Bible altered the meaning by "kneeled down" when it stated for Jesus, but when it is stated for God, then they translated it as "worship" without altering the original word, which is hypocrisy.

The Greek word "proskuneo" (worship) is used 22 times in the New Testament, to refer to worship, five times of Divine worship without specification, and 14 times in reference to worship of Jesus.

(Matthew 2:2) Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east,
and are come to worship him (Jesus).

(Matthew 2:11) And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and
fell down,
and worshipped him (Jesus): and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him
gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

(Matthew 8:2) And, behold, there came a leper and
worshipped him (Jesus).

(Matthew 9:18) . . . there came a certain ruler, and
worshipped him (Jesus).

(Matthew 14:33) Then they that were in the ship came and
worshipped him (Jesus), saying, "Of a truth thou art the Son of God."

(Matthew 15:25) Then came she and
worshipped him (Jesus), saying, "Lord, help me."

(Matthew 20:20) Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons,
worshipping him (Jesus).

(Matthew 28:9) . . . And they came and held him by the feet, and
worshipped him (Jesus).

(Matthew 28:17) And when they saw him, they
worshipped him (Jesus): but some doubted.

(Mark 5:6) . . . he ran and
worshipped him (Jesus).

(Luke 24:52) And they
worshipped him (Jesus).

(John 9:38) And he said, "Lord, I believe".
And he worshipped him (Jesus).

(Revelation 4:10) The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne,
and worship him
(Jesus).

2: Jesus is God:

(John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

(John 20:28-29) And Thomas answered and said unto him (Jesus), "
My Lord and My God." Jesus said unto him, "Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed"

(Philippians 2:5-6) ...which was also in Christ Jesus,
who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.

(Revelation 4:8) .....Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty, which was, which is, and is to come.

3: Jesus is the Creator of the universe:

(John 1:3) Through him (Jesus) all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made

(Colossians 1:16-17) For
by him (Jesus) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is
before all things, and in him all things hold together.

(Hebrews 1:2) . . . His Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things,
by whom also he made the worlds

4: Jesus, the First and the Last:

(Revelation 1:8) I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was,
and which is to come, the Almighty
.

(Revelation 1:17) When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and
said: "Do not be afraid.
I am the First and the Last."

(Revelation 2:8) To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him
who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again.

(Revelation 22:13) I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

5: Humiliation of the Jews. The Jews will worship Jesus' disciples!

(Revelation 2:9) I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich and
I know the blasphemy of
them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the Synagogue of Satan
.

(Revelation 3:9) Behold, I will make them of the
Synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews..".behold, I
(Jesus)
