MATTHEW'S BLUNDERS

Jesus sat on 2 animals at a time!

(Matthew 21:1-7) When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives,
then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "
Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a
donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me.
"If anyone says anything to you, you shall
say, 'The Lord has need of them,' and immediately he will send them." This took place to fulfill what was spoken
through the prophet: "Say to the daughter of Zion: Behold!
Your King is coming to you and mounted on a
Donkey, even on a Colt, the Foal of a Beast of burden."
The disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed
them, and
brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their coats on them; and He sat on the coats.

It is impossible to ride on two animals at a time, but Matthew didn't have any idea about that!

Thirty Pieces of Silver?

(Matthew 26:15-16) Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests. And said (unto
them) "What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And covenanted with him for
thirty pieces of silver."

Kindly note that, there were no "pieces of silver" used as currency in Jesus' time - they had gone out of
circulation about 300 years before. By using phrases that made sense in Zechariah's time but not in Jesus' time
Matthew once again makes a Blunder in his gospel to match "prophecies" he finds in the Old Testament.

Matthew's Smartness!

(Mathew 9:9) And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man names Mathew, sitting at the receipt of
custom: and he said unto him: Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

The above verse clearly sense that it is written by a third person witnessing the event of Jesus' meeting with
Matthew. And for example, if God revealed or inspired the Gospel to Matthew, then there should be the
addressing words of God to Matthew, like: "
And Jesus passed forth thence, he saw you sitting at the receipt of
custom, and he said to you..."
But Matthew used a strange language in his writings to prove how smart he was!

Matthew's Short Memory!

(Matthew 27:9) Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty
pieces of silver
, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value.

In the above mentioned verse Matthew tried to write a story of the previous prophet Jermy (Jeremiah). To analyze
Matthew's memory & truthfulness, we have to search that story within the Old Testament. We can find the same
story in the Old Testament, but there that story belongs to prophet Zechariah, not prophet Jermy! Take a look:

(Zechariah 11:11-13) And it was broken in that day, and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it
was word of the LORD. A
nd I (Zachariah) said unto them, if ye think good, give me my price thirty pieces of silver.
And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter, a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the 30
pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

Matthew trying to prove Jesus (PBUH) a Hypocrite!

(Mattew 5:16) In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise
your Father in heaven
.

(Mattew 6:3-4) But
when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so
that your giving may be in secret
. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

The above verses completely contradict with each other.

Matthew's 2nd attempt to prove Jesus (PBUH) a Hypocrite!

(Matthew 5:22) But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cuse shall be in danger of
the jugment. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council.
But whosoever shall
say, Thou Fool, shall be in danger of hell fire
.

(Matthew 23:17)
Ye fools and blinds, for whether is greaterm the gold of the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

According to Matthew, Jesus (PBUH) forbidden others what he did himself!

Matthew's 3rd attempt to prove Jesus (PBUH) a Hypocrite!

(Matthew 5:17)
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets, I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

(Matthew 5:38-39)
Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. But I say
unto you, That ye resist not evil, but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also
.

Matthew says that Jesus (PBUH) was the child of Holy Ghost!

(Matthew 1:18) Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to
Joseph, before they came together, she was found with
child of the Holy Ghost.

(Matthew 1:20)
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying "Joseph thou son of David, fear not take unto thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

Matthew declares Jesus (PBUH) to be worshipped!

(Matthew 28:9) As he went to tell his desciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and wirshipped him.

(Matthew 28:16-18) Then the 11 disciples went away inti Galilee, into a mountain, where Jesus had appointed
them
. And when they saw him (Jesus), they worshipped him (Jesus), but some doubted. And Jesus came and
spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven & in the earth.

Christians can move mountain by ordering it!

(Matthew 17:20) Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain "Remove hence to yonder place" and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossibe unto you."

If Matthew's above writing is correct, then why he fled fearing the Jews by leaving Jesus alone to be crucified? In the above verse is written that if any Christian has a small faith as a grain of mustard seed then they can remove the mountain. But Matthew fled by fear, which clearly proves his false statement. And also no Christian till to-date removed any mountain by ordering it to move! But only we can find a true example of removing mountain by ordering it to move, but alas! He was not a Christian, but a Muslim Sufi "Zunnun Misri". For details check this link: www.sufipath.cjb.net/zunnun.html

The Mother of the Sons of Zebedee???

(Matthew 20:20-21) Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Jesus with her sons, bowing down and making a request of Him. And he said to her  "What do you wish?" She said to him "Command that in yur kingdom these two sons of mine may sit one on your right and one on your left."

Matthew was so stupid & narrow-minded the he used very funny word "The Mother of the Sons of Zebedee" instead of sayiing "Zebedee's wife" because "the Mother os the Sons of Zebedee" was Zebedee's wife. He could simply say that "Zebedee's wife came to Jesus with her sons" but he used very funny sentence "The Mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Jesus".

And the second blunder that Matthew made in the above verses, is that, both sons directly went to Jesus & requested him, but not their mother. For better understanding, read the following verses regarding the same event:

(Mark 10:35-37) James and John, the two sons of Zebedee, came up to Jesus,  saying "Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you." And he said to them "What do you want me to do for you?" They said to him "Grant that we may sit, one on your right and one on your left, in your glory."

Mark quoted the event without folly, but Matthew showed his usual foolishness again in the above verses!

Another Blunder of Matthew!

(Matthew 3:13-14) Then Jesus arrived from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him. But John tried to prevent him, saying "I have need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"

In the above verses, Matthew tried to show us that John the Baptist (Yahya in Islam) had already know about Jesus' reality, so he was hesitant to baptize Jesus, and instead he requested Jesus to baptize him. Now read the following verses:

(Matthew 11:2-3) Now when John, while imprisoned, heard the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples, and said to him (Jesus) "Are you the expected one, or shall we look for some one else?"

These verses are quite contradictory to the previos, and shows that John didn't know about Jesus' reailty, so he sent his disciples to investigate if Jesus is the Christ. But in 3:13-14 Matthew said that John already knew about that. So that's nothing but a Blunder of Matthew!
