194: Steal & Robbery commanded or forbidden?

Commanded:

(Exodus 3:21-22) And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall come to pass, that,
when ye go ye, shall not go empty. But every woman shall borrow jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and
raiment; and ye shall put (them) upon your sons, and upon your daughters;
and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

(Exodus 12:35-36) And the children of Israel did according to the word of Mosesl and they borrowed of the
Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment. And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of
the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them (such things as they required).
And they spoiled Egyptians.

Forbidden:

(Exodus 20:15) Thou shalt not steal.

(Leviticus 19:11)
Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.




195: Is killing commanded or forbidden?

(Exodus 32:27) And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side
(and) go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp,
and slay every man his brother, and every man is
companion, and every man is neighbour.

(Exodus 20:13) Thou shall
not kill.




196: What about the Blood-Shedder?


(Genesis 9:5-6) The blood-shedder
must die.

(Genesis 4:15) The blood-shedder
must not die.



197: What about the Importunity in prayer?


(Matthew 6:7-8) But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen (do) for they think that they shall be
heard for their much speaking. Be not ye there fore like unto them; for your Father knoweth what things ye have
need of, before ye ask him.

(Luke 18:5-7) Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect,
which cry day and
night unto Him
, though he bear long with them?

In the above verses, Matthew condemned the Importunity Prayer, contrarily to that Luke commended it!




198: What about Men's Long Hair?


(Judges 13:5) For, lo, thou shalt conceive,
and bear a son, and no razor shall come on his head, for the child
shall be Nazarite unto God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

(Numbers 6:5) All the days of the vows of his separation t
here shall no razor come upon his head; until the days
be fulfilled, in which he separated (himself) unto LORD, he shall be holy, (and)
shall let the locks of the hair of his
head grow
.

(1 Corinthians 11:14) Doth not even nature itself teach you, that,
if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him.




199: What about Circumcision?


(Genesis 17:10) This (is) My covenant, which ye shall keep, between Me and you and thy seed after thee; Every
man child among you shall be circumcised
.

(Galatians 5:2) Behold, I Paul say unto you,
that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

In Genesis God is commanding for circumcision, while in Galatians Paul is going against the will of God!





200: What about Sabbath?

(Exodus 20:8) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

(Isaiah 1:13)
Bring no more vain oblations, incense is an abomination unto Me; the new moons and sabbaths, the
calling of assemblies, I can not away with; (it is) iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

(2:16)
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of any holyday, or of the new moon, or of
the
sabbath (days).




201: The reason to keep Sabbath Day?

(Exodus 20:11) For (in) Six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them (is), and rested
the seventh day; wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it
.

(Deuteronomy 5:15) And remember that
thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and (that) the LORD thy God
brought thee out thence
through a mighty hand by a stretched out arm; therefore the LORD thy God
commanded thee keep the sabbath day
.




202: Jesus broke God's Law!

(Exodus 31:15) Six days may work be done; but in the seventh day (any) work in the sabbath day, he shall surely
be put to death
.

(John 5:16) And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him,
because he had done these
things on the sabbath day
.





203: What about baptizing?


(Matthew 28:19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost.

(1 Corinthians 1:17) For C
hrist sent not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the
cross of Christ should be made of non effect.





204: What about marriage?


(Genesis 2:18) And the LORD said,
(it is) not good that the man should be alonel I will make him an help meet for
him.

(Matthew 19:5) And he said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and
shall cleave to his wife, and
they twain shall be one flesh.


(1 Corinthians 7:1) Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me:
(it is) good for a man not to touch a
woman
.

(1 Corinthians 7:8) I say therefore to the unmarried and widows,
it is good for them if they abide even as I.




205: What about Divorce?

(Deuteronomy 24:1) When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour
in his eyes, because hath found some uncleanness in her;
then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth
it.

(Matthew 5:32) But I say unto you, That
whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication,
causeth her to commit adultery, and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committed adultery.


Matthew completely destroyed the Law, about which Jesus said "I did not come to destroy it, but to fulfil". Even
Matthew says that marrying a divorced woman is like to commit adultery!




206: What about Adultery?

(Exodus 20:14) Thou shall not commit adultery.

(Numbers 32:17) Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man
by lying with him. But all women children that have not known a man by lying with him,
keep alive for yourselves.

(Hosea 1:2) The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, God,
take unto
thee a wife of whoredoms
and children of whoredoms, for the land hath committed great whoredom (departing)
from the LORD.

208: Reward & Punishment, where?


(Proverbs 11:31) Reward and punishment to be bestowed in this world.

(Matthew 16:27; 2 Corinthians 5:10) Reward and punishment to be bestowed
in the next world.




209: What about Earth?

(2 Peter 3:10; Heb 1:11; Rev 20:11) The Earth is to be destroyed.

(Psalm 104:5; Eccl 1:4) The Earth is
never to be destroyed.




210: Easy or not?


(John 16:33; 2 Tim 3:12; Heb 12:6-8) The Christian yoke is not easy.

(Matthew 11:28-30) The Christian yoke
is easy.



211: Enjoyed or Denied?


(Job 21:7-8; Pslam 17:14; Eccl 8:12; Isa 65:20) Longetivity
enjoyed by the wicked.

(Eccl 8:13; Psa 55:23; Prov 10:27; Job 36:14) Longetivity
denied to the wicked.




212: Poverty or Riches?

Poverty a blessing.

Riches a blessing.

(Eccl 7:1; Prov 22:1) A good name is a blessing.

(Luke 6:26) A good name is a
curse.




214: Remedy for foolishness?


(Proverbs 22:15) The rod of correction is a remedy for foolishness.

(Proverbs 27:22) There is
no remedy for foolishness.



215: When Satan entered into Judas?

(John 13:27) Satan entered into Judas
while at supper.

(Luke 22:3-7) Satan entered into him
before the supper.



216: Temptation?

(James 1:2) Temptation to be desired.

(Matthew 6:13) Temptation
not to be desired.



217: Bestowed, when?

(Acts 1:8,5) Holy Spirit bestowed at Pentecost.

(John 20:22) Holy Spirit bestowed
before Pentecost.

(Matt 28:10) The disciples were commanded immediately after the resurrection to go into Galilee.

(Luke 24:49) The disciples were commanded immediately after the resurrection
to go tarry at Jerusalem.

(Acts 9:7) Paul's attendants heard
the miraculous voice, and stood speechless.

(Acts 26:14) Paul's attendants
heard not the voice and were prostrate.

(2 Peter 1:19) Prophecy is
sure.

(Jeremiah 18:7-10) Prophecy is
not sure.

(Genesis 9:2) The fear of man was to be upon
every beast.

(Proverbs 30:30) The fear of man is
not upon lion.

(2 Timothy 3:16) All Scripture is inspired.

is not inspired.

(Genesis 12:5) Abraham departed to go
into Canaan.

(Hebrews 11:8) Abraham went
not knowing where.




224: How many sons did Abraham have?

(Galatians 4:22) Abraham had two sons.

(Hebrews 11:17) Abraham had but
one son.



225: How many sons?


(Genesis 21:2; Romans 4:19; Hebrews 11:12) Abraham begat a son when he was a hundred years old, by the
interposition of Providence.

(Genesis 25:1-2) Abraham
begat six children more after he was a hundred years old without any interposition of
providence.
