167: Is God good or evil?

(Psalm 145:9) The Lord is good to all.

(Deuteronomy 32:4) A
God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.

(Isaiah 45:7) I make peace and
create evil. I the Lord do all these things.

(Jeremiah 18:11) Thus saith the Lord; Behold,
I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you.

(Ezekiel 20:25-26)
I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live.
And
I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I
might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the Lord.




168: How many died exactly?

(Numbers 25:9) And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand (24,000).

(1 Corinthians 10:8) Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day
three and
twenty thousand (23,000
).




169: Was Jesus trustworthy?

(John 8:14) Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true.

John 5:31) If I bear witness of myself,
my witness is not true.

Kindly note that "Record" and "Witness" in the above verses are the same Greek word (martyria).




170: How many Gods are there?

(Deuteronomy 6:4) The Lord our
God is one Lord.

(1 John 5:7) And there are three that bear witness in heaven,
the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and
these three are one
.

(Genesis 3:22) And the Lord God said, Behold,
the man has become as one of us, to know good and evil.


The sentence "the man has become as one of us"; clearly prove that there are many Gods, that's why God said
"one of US"





171: Is there any righteous & good?


No:
(Romans 3:10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.

(Psalm 14:3)
There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Yes
:
(Genesis 7:1) And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen
righteous before me in this generation
.

(Luke 1:6) And t
hey were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the
Lord blameless.





172: Should we swear an oath?

Yes:

(Numbers 30:2) If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath . . . he shall do according to all that
proceedeth out of his mouth
.

(Genesis 21:22-24,31) . . .
swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me . . . And Abraham
said, I will swear
. . . . Wherefore he called that place Beersheba [well of the oath&]; because there they sware
both of them.

(Hebrews 6:13-17) For when
God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware
by himself
. . . for men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel,

confirmed it by an oath
.


No:

(Matthew 5:34-37) But I say unto you, swear not at all; neither by heaven . . . nor by the earth . . . . Neither shalt
thou swear by thy head . . . . But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than
these cometh of evil.

(James 5:12) . . .
swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea
be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.





173: Shall we obey a man or not?

Obey man:
(1 Peter 2:13) Submit yourself to every ordinance of man . . . to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors.

(Matthew 22:21) Render therefore unto
Caesar the things which are Caesar's.


Don't obey man:

(Acts 5:29) We ought to obey God rather then men.




174: Is God Omnipotent?

Yes:

(Jeremiah 32:27) Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

(Matthew 19:26) But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible;
but with God all things
are possible
.

No:

(Judges 1:19) And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive
out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron
.





175: Does God live in light or darkness?

Light:

(1 Timothy 6:15-16);. . . the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light
which no man can approach . . .

(James 1:17) . . .
the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

(Daniel 2:22) He [God] knoweth what is in the darkness, and the
light dwelleth with Him.


Darkness:

(2I Samuel 22:12) And He made darkness pavilions round about Him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

(Psalm 18:11)
He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick
clouds of the skies.

(Psalm 97:1-2) The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice . . . clouds and
darkness are round about Him.




176: Is God satisfied with His work?


(Genesis 1:31) God saw all that He made, and
it was very good.

(Genesis 6:6) The Lord was grieved that He had made man on earth, and
His heart was filled with pain.



177: Does God dwell in temples or not?

(2 Chronicles 7:12,16) the LORD appeared to him at night and said: "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple of sacrifices.....I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.

(Acts 7:48) However,
the Most High does not live in houses made by men.




178: Does God get tired, and rests, or not?

(Exodus 31:17) In six days the Lord made heaven and earth, a
nd on the seventh day He rested, and was
refreshed
.

(Isaiah 40:28) The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary.




179: Is God present everywhere? Or not?

Yes:

(Proverbs 15:3) The eyes of the LORD [are] in every place, beholding the evil and good.

(Pslam 139:7- )
whither shall go from Thy Spirit? or whither shall I flee from Thy presence. If I ascend up into
heaven, T
hou [are] there; if I make my bed in hell, behold Thou are there.


No:

(Genesis 11:5) But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that men were building.

(Genesis 18:20-21) The the LORD said, 'The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sins so
grievous that
I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I
will know.


The above verses from Genesis describe God like a human, who can't see things from the sky & God comes
down on earth to see what is going on!





180: Does God know what is in our heart, or not?

Yes:

(Acts 1:24) And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these
two Thou hast chosen.

(Psalm 139:2-3) Thou knowest my downsitting and my uprisin
g, Though understandest my thought afar off. Thou
compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.



No:

(Deuteronomy 8:2) Remember how the LORD your God lead you all the way in the desert these forty years, to
humble you
and test you in order to know what was in your hearts.

(Deuteronomy 13:3) The LORD your
God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and
with all your soul.





181: Is God just?

Yes:
(Psalm 92:15) To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock and there is no unrighteousness in him.

(Deuteronomy 32:4) The Rock! His work is perfect,
For all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without
injustice, righteous and upright is He.

(Ezekiel 18:25) Yet you say, "The way of the LORD is not right."  Here now, O house of Israel!
Is My way not
right? Is it not your ways that are not right?



No:

(Exodus 20:5) You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting
the iniquity of the fathers in the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me.


(Romans 2:11) For there is
no partiality with God.





182: God is to be found by those who seek him?


(Matthew 7:8) For every one that asked received, and he that sought found, and to him that knocked it shall be
opened
.

(Proverbs 8:17) I love them that love Me;
and those that seek Me early shall find Me.

(Proverbs 1:28) Then they will call on me,
but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they shall not find
me
.



183: God accepts human sacrifices or not?

(Deuteronomy 12:31) You shall not do so unto the LORD Your God, for every abonimation to the LORD, which
he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to
their gods
.

(Genesis 22:3) And He said,
Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and get him into the land
of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering
upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.




184: Can God's attribute be understood or not?


(Isaihah 40:28) Has thou not known? has thou not heard that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the
end of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?
(there is) no searching of his understanding.

(Romans 1:20) For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood
by the things that are made
, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.



185: Jesus' Double-Standard!

(Luke 12:4) And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more
that they can do.

(John 7:1) After these things Jesus walked in Galilee;
for he would not walk in Jewry; because the Jews sought to
kill him
.

In Luke 12:4 Jesus advice his disciples to not fear being killed, contrary to that in John 7:1 Jesus himself feared
from Jews to be killed!!!





186: David's sin?

(2 Samuel 24:10) David sinned in numbering the people.

(1 King 15:5) David
never sinned, except in the matter of Uriah.



187: David's throne?


(Pslam 89: 35-37) David's throne was
to endure forever.

(Pslam 89-44) David's throne was
cast down.




188: Zechariah or Jeremy?

(Zechariah 11:11-13) The event of 30 pieces of silver happened to Prophet Zechariah.

(Matthew 27:9) The event of 30 pieces of silver happened to
Prophet Jeremy.



189: Jesus' power?

(Matthew 28:18; John 3:35) Jesus was all-powerful.

(Mark 6:5) Jesus was
not all-powerful.



190: The Law?

(Luke16:16; Romans 7:6) The law was superseded by Christian dipensation.

(Matthew 5:17-19) The law
was not superseded by Christian dipensation.




191: Jesus' Testimony?

(John 5:33-34) Jesus
didn't receive testimony from man.

(John 15:27) Jesus
received testimony from man.




192: Justification of faith!

(Romans 3:20; 4:2; Galatians 2:16; 3:11-12) Man is justified by faith alone.

(James 2:21-24; Romans 2:13) Man is
not justified by faith alone.



193: Possible or not?


(John 10:28; Romans 8:38-39) It is
not possible to fall from grace.

(Ezekiel 18:24; Hebrews 6:4-6) It is
possible to fall from grace.
