| Bible vs Quran God sent Jesus (PBUH) only for Israelites. Both Quran & the Bible agree on this point that Jesus (PBUH) was a Prophet only for Israelites, but not for whole world: (Matthew 15:24) But he (Jesus) anwered, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (Quran 3:48-49) And Allah will teach him (Jesus) the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel. And (appoint him) an Apostle to the Children of Israel (with this message): I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord in that I make you out of clay as it were the figure of a bird and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave; and I heal those born blind and the lepers and I quicken the dead by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for your if ye did believe. Bible was for a Temporary Period. Both Bible & Quran agree that Bible was sent to the people only for a temporary period: (Hebrews 8:13) Paul said, In that He (God) said, "A New Covenant." He had made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old: is ready to vanish away. (Quran 13: 38) We did send ;Apostles before thee and appointed for them wives and children; and it was never the part of an Apostle to bring a Sign except as Allah permitted. For each period is a Book. In the above verse of Quran, God clearly says that "For each Period is a Book", which is the confirmation of the above verse of the Bible Bible is a Corrupted Book. Bible & Quran also agree that, people have corrupted the Bible, and the Bible is an impure Book now: (Jeremiah 8:8) How can you say, "We (the Jews) are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. The above verse prove that Jews corrupted their Scriptures by writing them by their own hands & and then falsely claiming that these are God's words. Prophet Moses (PBUH) was also aware of that, and he had already predicted that the Jews will corrupt their Scriptures (The Old Testament), that's why he said: (Deuteronomy 31:24-29) And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished. That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: Take this book of the Law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the Lord, and how much more after my death? Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you, and evil in the sight of the Lord to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands. The above two verses are proofs of corruption of the Old Testament, but the New Testament is also not pure, because one of the main writers of the New Testament (Paul) accepts that he does not quotes according to God's words & he also accepts that he boasts in foolishness: (2 Corinthians 11:17-18) What I am saying, I am not saying as the Lord would, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting. Since many boast according to the flesh, I will boast also. The above verses are enough to prove that whole Bible is a corrupted & adulterated book. Now come to the Last Holy Book, the Quran, what it says about this matter: (Quran 2:79) Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say: "This is from Allah" to traffic with it for a miserable price! Woe to them for what their hands do write and for the gain they make thereby. Polytheism. Bible supports Polytheism (especially the New Testament) like Trinity, Son of God etc. But Quran completely oppose Polytheism. And that is the main point, on which Bible & Quran differ from each other. In the Bible we can find verses, which strongly supports Polytheistical belief: (Matthew 28 16-18) Then the 11 disciples went away inti Galilee, into a mountain, where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him (Jesus), they worshipped him (Jesus), but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven & in the earth. The above verses are clearly Polytheistic, because they describe how Jesus' disciples worshipped him, and even Jesus (PBUH) himself encouraged them who were doubtful to worship Jesus (PBUH), besides one & only Almighty God. (Matthew 28:9) And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by feet, and worshipped him. (1 Corinthians 1:3) Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. ( 1 Corinthians 1:9) God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord. (Matthew 27:43) He trusted in God; let him deliver Him now, if he will have Him, for he said, I am the Son of God. Quran falsifies the allegations that Jesus (PBUH) was Son of God: (Quran 112:1-4) Say: He is Allah the One and Only; Allah the Eternal Absolute; He begetteth not nor is He begotten; And there is one like unto Him. (Quran 19:35) It is not befitting to (the majesty) Allah that He should beget a Son. Glory to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it "Be" and it is. (Quran 3:64) Say: "O people of Book (Jews & Christians), come to common terms as between us and you, that we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not from among ourselves Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims (bowing to Allah's will)." Quran also says that in the Day of Judgment God will ask Jesus (PBUH) if he is Son of God &a if he told the people to worship him, but Jesus will deny it & will say that he didn't claim to be Son of God: (Quran 5:116) And behold! Allah will say "O Jesus the Son of Mary! didst thou say unto men 'woship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah"? He (Jesus) will say "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had not right (to say). Had I said such thing Thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart through I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden." Bible affirms the above verse of the Quran that Jesus in the Day of Judgment deny the charges of the Christians on him: (Matthew 7:22-23) Many will say to me (Jesus) in that day "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?" And then will I profess unto them "I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work inequity." Trinity. Trinity is also a concept of Polytheism (God, Son & Holy Ghost). Bible's only New Testament support this theory, but the Old Testament is silent about that. (Matthew 28:19) Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. (Luke 1:35) The angel answered "The Holy Ghost will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born and called Son of God." Quran falsifies Trinity: (Quran 5:73) They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is one of three in a Trinity"; for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy) verily Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful. (Quran 4:176) O people of the Book! commit no excess in your religion; nor say of Allah aught but truth. Christ Jesus the Son of Mary was (no more than) an Apostle of Allah and His word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit (Angel Gabriel) proceeding from Him; so believe in Allah and His Apostles. Say not "Trinity"; desist; it will be better for your; for Allah is One Alla; glory be to Him; (for Exalted is He) above having a Son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on the earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. Was Jesus Crucified? Bible claims that Jesus (PBUH) was crucified by the Jews, and he died: (John 19:18) Where they crucified him, and two others with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. (Mark 15:20) And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him our to crucify him. While Quran falsifies the theory of Jesus' crucifixion: (Quran 4:156-157) That they said (in boast) "We killed Christ Jesus the Son of Mary the Apostle of Allah" but they killed him not nor crucified him, but it was made to appear to them and those who differ therein are full of doubts with no (certain) knowledge but only conjecture to follow for a surely they killed him not. Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power Wise. Note that the Early Christians also didn't believe Jesus' Crcifixion and they believed that some other person was crucified instead of Jesus, the early Christian Sect "Gnostics" were more confident about Jesus' not being crucified, even they did not rely on the Gospels because they believed that none of Jesus' disciple witnessed his crucifixion, that's why their writings about Jesus' crucifixion are unreliable. Bearing the Sin of others? Bibible says that Jesus (PBUH) died because of others' sins: (1 Corinthians 15:3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. But Quran says that no one can bear the sins of others nor would be punished for others' sins: (Quran 39:7) If ye reject (Allah), truly Allah has no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants; if ye are grateful He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end to your Lord is your return when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life); for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts |
