Executive Board
By constitution, the Executive Board consists of six elected board members, two appointed members and the SEA Head Coach. 

Duties of Officers:

President:  Presides at all meetings of SEA Swim Team and of its Executive Board, appoints standing and special committees, is ex-officio member of all committees, and makes interim appointments to fill vacancies of the Executive Board with the consent and approval of the other Board members.  The President coordinates policy and fund raising matters, and attends the annual meeting of the North Carolina Swimming, INC (NCS), the local governing body for United States Swimming, INC.

1st Vice President:  Performs the duties of the President during the President's absence.  Performs any other duties assigned to him by the President.

2nd Vice President:  Performs the duties of the 1st Vice President during the 1st Vice President's absence.  Performs any other duties assigned to him by the President.

Treasurer:  Administers the day to day financial business of the SEA Team, to include billings, collections, and deposits of dues and fees, maintenance of bank accounts and the preparation of periodic financial statements.   Assists the President in budget preparation and dispurses approved funds.  Forwards financial statements and annual audits to DCA.  Provides information for SEA rosters and certifies financial status of members transfering to another USS Club.

Secretary:  Prepares correspondence, certificates, notices, and other matters, as deemed appropriate.  Records, prepares, and maintains minutes of meetings; notifies all Board Members about meeting times and locations; ensures all correspondence is properly preserved and filed appropriately. Ensure minutes are forwared to DCA within 10 working days following the meetings.

Team Manager:  In coordination with the HEAD Coach, and entry chairman, ensures that team meet entries for SEA are submitted on  time.  Obtains uses of pools for swim meets for which SEA hosts and functions as the meet manager for such meets.  He develops,maintains, and furnishes the required copies of a SOP for conducting such meets.

NCS Representative:  is the SEA official representative to NCS and as such is a voting member of its House of Delegates.  He attends NCS meetings and reports, to the Executive Board, all decisions that affect future USS activities.  He performs other functions as deemed necessary by the Board.

Member-At-Large:  Responsible for maintaining close rapport with the families of SEA swimmers and ensures the Executive Board is aware of any matters that the general membership may wish brought before it.  This officer's duties are general in nature, and he performs an other functions deemed appropriate by the Board.

Head Coach:  Responsible for technical aspects of SEA operation, including:  daily swim practice, tryouts, and coaching all aspects of competitive swimming.  Coordinates with appropriate Board members and committee chairman, to prepare meet entries, award ceremonies and awards, publicity, transportation, etc.  Responsible for personal supervision of assistant coaches, maintenance of SEA property and recommendations for procurement of equipment and supplies.  Serves as an appointed and non-voting member of the Board.  Coordinates with the Board in determination of the yearly swim meet schedule.
