What is it like to wear diapers?
|
|
For a little over a year now, I have been wearing diapers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It would be fibbing if I said I have
never taken a break. For example, I don't wear around my parents (I have never told them). But for the most part, well over 95% of the time, I am wearing a diaper.
So what is it like to wear a diaper? Well, the best description I ever heard was that it is like somebody is giving you a big
hug that never stops. I have always liked that one. Other people have mentioned (and I agree) that it provides a feeling of comfort and security. It also happens to just plain feel good (diaper area = most sensative area of the human body). Some people, myself included, enjoy the noise (crinkling plastic) that diapers make too. For me, wearing a diaper has become the norm. I feel strange now if I am now wearing a diaper.
There are a number of benefits to wearing a diaper besides the fact that it feels good on a emotional and physical level.
The convience of wearing a diaper is certainly worth mentioning. Many people out there wear diapers while they work to make thier life easier. I have heard of truck drivers, crane operators, pilots, astronauts, and divers all wearing diapers because it is the sensible thing to do. One crane operator explained that taking a 5 minute bathroom break would cost his company (not him personally) around a thousand dollars. I really enjoy the freedom diapers offer me. When I go to the theater, I don't ever miss anything because I had to pee!
The main reason I choose to wear diapers however, is because for whatever reason I really want to. It is not something I
can explain. I hardly even understand it. But I know it is there. I am a happier person because I wear diapers. It makes me more comfortable. If I don't wear them, nothing crazy happens. It is not like a drug or something that I am addicted to. But I do prefer wearing diapers to anything else, and so I do.
Often when I tell people I wear diapers, they say something like "you mean, like Depends?" Well the fact of the matter is
no, I don't wear Depends, because they are the worst diaper on the market! Currently I wear Attends, but I am really picky and Attends have been going down in quality ever since they were bought out by Paper Pak Inc. It is hard to believe, but finding a good diaper in the USA is tough. And believe me I have looked! A quick list of some of the brands I have tried: Tranquility, Attends, Depends, Promise, Molicare, Tena, First Quality, Prevail, Abri-form, and a bunch of random diapers in Latin America! Europe has much better diapers than we do, but you can't get them here. There is a lot that goes into make a diaper "good". Some of the most important factors for me are absorbancy (I wet my diapers and I DONT want leaks) and appearance. A diaper should be white, cute and crinkly. Unfortunatly many adult diapers and not white, look rediculous and make no noise.
Many DLs out there wear cloth diapers and plastic pants. Most of the stuff I have read says that it all depends on what
your parents raised you in. If you were brought up in cloth, you tend to like cloth. I am a disposable guy. I have tried cloth, but I don't like them nearly as much. |
