A collection of photographs taken over the last two years using a Canon Powershot A70 camera. I don't claim to be a great photographer, but it is my hope that you will find something of interest here beyond the usual washed-out red-eye shots of people you don't know.

Photographic interests include: Alaska, dogs, candid portraits, Asian gardens, and old churches. The west is a little short on interesting-looking old churches, but there no lack of everything else.

I have put together some notes on why I decided, in June of 2005, to replace my aging Powershot A70 with a Nikon D70 digital SLR. If you are considering such a change, you may find them of interest.
