My favorite and most used strat is pretty easy to pull off.
You start using a Demon Hunter and archers to harass your opponent(s). This will make it hard for them to tech up and kill you. While you are doing this you should get dryads and Druids of the claw with a mastery so that they can use bear form. Before attacking the enemies with your units make sure that the Druids of the Claw are in bear form and that the Dryads abolish magic is on auto-cast.
Hint- Kill gatherers when harassing is always a good way to hurt there resource supply.
Another great strat is for groups of two. First you both use demon hunters to harass the enemy. The join your Demon Hunters with some archers. While this small fight,which sometimes wins, is happening one partner should get dryads and bears. The other should get hippogryph riders and the if possible some chimeras. This strat works especially well when playin against newbs.
Hint- This strat is awesome it got me and my partner to lvl. 5 in three days of one hour of play IT WORKS.
Now a good strat if using human and night elf is for the human partner to get a
Archmage and some footmen, to start. And for the Night Elf to get a Demon Hunter and archers. This is only for the beggining of the game. After that the humans get Sorcersses and Preists. Make sure you have them both with maximum upgrades. And the Night Elf to get Druids of the claw and some dyads.
Hint- Make Sure all upgrades for attack and magic are done or this may not work.
