Launches Every Weekend (almost)
There are currently four regularly scheduled rocket launches every month in the state
of Washington.

Location:
Kent Space Center
(BEMRC launch site).
The Boeing Employees Model Rocket Club has graciously agreed to let us
share their launch site and date. They have a multi-pad launch rack for model rockets (1/8 inch rods),
and one for large model rockets (up to 1/4 inch). Mostly small stuff, up to D-motors, but occasionally
some big ones, up to 3.3 lbs. No waiver. No high power. The second Saturday of the month, from 10 to
about 2pm, depending on weather and interest.
Note: Boeing is in the process of selling the range where the BEMRC holds their launches.
It will not be available for recreational clubs, but we have found a replacement location.
See the directions page.
Also, check out the annual Build-and-fly sessions.
Crescent Lake, Monroe
(Hosted by Washington Aerospace).
This is where you see the big rockets. High Power, up to L-powered motors. They have a 5,000 foot waiver,
and run from 11am to 5pm on the first Sunday of the month.
60-Acres (hosted by SeaNAR).
A fairly informal launch, as we share a field with RC gliders, dog clubs, etc. Mostly model
rockets, with occasional E or F launches. The field is not really large enough to support much more.
This is the official meeting time/place for SeaNAR, so if you are interested in joining, this would
be the place to find us. We generally set up around 10am, and stay until about 2pm, or whenever
people run out of motors. If a meeting is called, it's usually at noon.
