Roísín (pronounced Rosheen) is torn between her family and new home in South Africa and her birth and childhood roots deep in the sod of a little village on the River Lee in Co. Cork, Ireland. She writes outstanding poems and short stories of Ireland's past taking no liberties or license with the facts exercising every caution not to compromise the integrity of Irish history. She recently submitted some of her work for publication in some very creditable Irish journals. Much of her work is available for all to enjoy and may be found at her web site Roísín's Corner of Poetry and Dreams. Please tell her Seanache says "hi." |
