Ranger History: Tommy was the Green Dragon Ranger, the White Ranger, Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger and Black Dino Thunder Ranger
Tommy was the original Green Ranger. He received his powers after Rita Repulsa put an evil spell on him. The original Power Rangers were able to break the spell and their leader Jason was able to convince Tommy to join the team. Tommy fought alongside the Rangers with his Dragonzord and he helped the team achieve some major victories. He eventually was forced to give Jason his power coin once he started to lose his powers. (He started losing his powers after Rita used a magical candle to drain his Ranger energy.)
Zordon was able to temporarily restore his powers for a time. The power, unfortunately, phased itself out after Tommy helped the Rangers battle Lord Zedd a couple of times.
Tommy was eventually given new Ranger powers. He became the White Ranger, the new leader of the power team. He had the powers for a year and a half but he lost them once Goldar and Rito destroyed his Ninja Power Coin.
He went on to become the Red Zeo Ranger and the Red Turbo Ranger. He eventually passed on his leadership role to TJ, the second red Turbo Ranger.
Tommy went on to become a paleontologist and a science teacher. He thought his Ranger days were over until his old enemy Mesogog tracked him down and attacked him in Reefside. Tommy assembled a new team of Dino Thunder Rangers and he went on to become the Black Dino Thunder Ranger.
